I don’t often post about what has happened irl but wanted to extend gratitude for a few moments this year -

First off feeling very grateful to have gotten the chance to do the residency @strangefound (thank you @willak for founding this!) and think over what finishing Link Dump would look like

Talking at Chinatown.js and to all the people who let me demo and describe Link Dump in way too many sentences

Working on Kernel with the Reboot team and the zine with @leanahnleen ! Incredibly fun collaboration n dream team!

Going to gradient and the risolab! Thank you again to everyone I met this year, even though I failed a lot and made many mistakes, I learned a lot too, and looking forward to the upcoming year!

NYC launch of 5th issue of Kernel Magazine in September! 🏙️ Join us at Hex House and rsvp at lu.ma/k5-nyc (link in bio)

This issue of kernel is themed around rules: the rules that shape our lives and the rules that we shape for ourselves. it’s a collection of essays, interviews, fiction, poetry, and art that captures the generative and restrictive facets of rules in technology and society. we’re very excited for you all to read it. see you soon!

(cover art by Kristy Gao! graphic design by @conliuart ! magazine by all of us !)

📒🤲 Over the last few weeks, the Internet Phone Book has started reaching people. It couldn’t be more exciting to see real hands holding and paging through it. It reminds us that the internet is alive and made up of humans! We couldn’t be more excited about the web right now. All these humans tending to their personal websites, growing something that isn’t owned or controlled by one company or individual. It’s truly inspiring!
