Treated myself to a new satchel from the @leathersatchel 🥹 in a lovely British Tan colour and it’s being monogrammed with my childhood nickname! Shnoogy 🥹🥀✨😍 so excited!

Last day in Paris 🩷
20'000 steps and 2 bus rides across Paris to catch all my favorite places (let me know if you want my Google Maps list, by the way 😘)

First: amazing hot chocolate at Carette (at the best location: Place des Vosges) to set the day right ☕️

Relaxing for a bit by the Seine, asking another tourist to snap some photos of me with Notre Dame in the distant ☺️

Went by Annick Goutal to finally treat myself to my first perfume, only to find out that Rose Absolue was discontinued 😭 If you know of another perfume that smells like rose, only rose and nothing but rose 🥀🩷, let me know!

My happy place: Ladurée 🩷💚 I love the outdoor seating by Place Victor Hugo because there's absolutely no crowds and just the sweetest locals 🥰

👚 Wearing: @emmydesignsweden linen pants and cotton blouse from previous seasons with a true vintage hat I got some days before and shoes I found that day 👒🩰

Paris, day 6, part 2: Emmy Goes to Paris 🥐

Paris, day 1: Monet 🪷
The first day of my Paris trip was not actually spent in Paris! I instead took the train for 1,5 hour to Giverny, Normandy to visit Monet's house and garden, and as a bonus: fled the hottest day of the heatwave!

In my opinion Monet was an even better interior designer and landscape architect than he was a painter and I had a wonderful time slowly taking in the beauty of it all 🌿🩷

I came back to Paris at 8 in the evening to a heat worse than mid-day in Giverny! (I first thought I was walking past where all air-conditioning let out its heat, before realizing it was oozing from the asphalt 🥵)

I ended the day at Au Petit Riche and had the best fish of my life! (Smoked haddock filet with beurre blanc 🤤).

I of course wanted to match Monet's beautiful house so I wore a previous season @emmydesignsweden pink linen suit 🩷👚

👉 A tip: book your ticket to Monet's house in advance and make sure the time corresponds to the train times!

April was a month of deep roots and new blooms. 🌸 From salvaging my leather bags that have stood the test of a decade (quality is everything) to welcoming the matcha Kindle and the magic of The Butterfly Witch.

I spent the month watching sunsets and leaning into the quiet. A very special piece joined me, a necklace of white jade and rose quartz. Since part of my Mum’s Chinese name is Jade, and I dreamt that she told me she likes the palest Jade compared to the green, it feels like carrying a piece of her heart with me every day. 🤍
Checking off milestones: PR invites in Boroughbridge, book conventions, saying a quiet goodbye to my old Phonak, and celebrating Dad. Most importantly, seeing Misty finally free from her crate and ruling the house again. 🐾
