INVITE: @seoulgardenbbq.nsw grand opening

They pulled out all the stops last night at the opening of @seoulgardenbbq.nsw inside @thegaleries.

We were greeted with soju cocktails, rows of premium meats for the bbq, fresh seafood sat on ice waiting to be dunked in a hot pot and they even had a chocolate fountain.

This has got to be the best value for money buffet in Sydney right now. $45pp for lunch and $53 for dinner and you get 90mins to stuff yourself until you’re rolling out.
You have a choice of Korean bbq, hot pot (or both) and they also have hot food station, instant noodle station and every dessert you might crave (if you still have room in your tummy).

The staff were polite and helpful, they changed our bbq tray at least twice. The place is huge but I’d still recommend booking because it’ll fill up.

Thanks @hellreizer and @mattraphael @madco.agency for inviting me and @achan3007. We had a fantastic night.

I love to see my friends shining.
It was an honour to host the Australia premier of Lilith the movie by @moonroomfilms.
A film that has been 10 years in the making. Lilith is a psychological thriller based on true stories of a contagious psychosis, folie à famille.
This weekend we celebrated his persistence and the art of storytelling, he brought to life a rare story that makes you question your own psyche. Congratulations Dale. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for entrusting me with hosting your event. I had so much fun with our Q&A.

Photographer: @thealistphotographers thank you for the gorgeous pics Sam.
Venue: @acmionline your team were exceptional and helpful.

I think I’ve been delaying posting holiday photos so I can relive these sweet, cherished memories from my 40th, what a dream.

40th celebrations part 2 in Singapore with some one my favourite peeps. I couldn’t have asked for a more magical day.
A beautiful brunch @sospiri.sg where we had the balcony bar all to ourselves.
My brother @achan3007 showing up with the most embarrassing baby photo of me on a Tshirt… that’s bro love 😂
Cocktails on top of @marinabaysands @spagosingapore, where fighter jets zoomed overhead in preparation for SG’s national day, a gorgeous sunset topped off with fireworks, all whilst surrounded by beautiful friends, I AM SO GRATEFUL for this life. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ps. How has it already been a whole damn month?

OKINAWA - paradise paused in another era. Remnants of bygone Americana in the buildings, the architecture, driving down the freeway, the cars.

It was peaceful and chaotic. Charming side streets but turn a corner and its neon signs, loud J-Pop blasting out of brightly lit up stores and restaurants.

We chased sunsets on secluded beaches and searched far and wide for local food. This is what holidays are about.

The 40th celebration that exceeded all expectations.
Four of the best people I know joining me, not just in Tokyo but for a whirlwind tour of Japan, Im so grateful.

Thank you @mattya1632, @fabizzle_clavizzle, @baby_kangawoo and @charlesimon, you’re the best gays a girl could have and I can’t believe I get all four of you in one lifetime. I’m truely blessed with your friendships and all the adventures we’ve had in the last 20 years. Looking forward to another Japan trip and maybe Paris for an emotional roller coaster? 😂

A weekend in Melbourne in no particular order.

We saw Sabalenka and Alcaraz play spectacular games at the @australianopen.
Had rooftop drinks at @morrishousemelbourne, their DJ on that Friday was pump in’ old school house all night, lots of old favs came up. Good vibes.
I had cravings for soupy XLB so we had dinner at @hutongdumplings one night after a movie. The XLB’s were just as I had remembered them, piping hot soup and meat in silky thin pastry skins.
Spent some quality time with some of my favourite people chilling by the pool before it was time to go back to Sydney. A whirlwind trip, I didn’t get to see enough of my peeps or try any new restaurants, which was a bummer but it was still a memorable getaway.

#photodump from the rest of the Fiji Trip.

It was definitely a memorable one. It rained everyday except for the days we had things planned, which is typical for this time of the year.
We got the experience @cloud9_fiji with beautiful, clear skies. We ate wood-fired pizza in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and snorkelled to a reef.
NYE saw us trying to fight off the sleepies. We changed into our robes and sipped on Prosecco counting down the seconds. Our resort put on a fire show and fireworks that seemed to go on forever.
The day before we left, we woke up early and travelled 3 hours to almost the capital of Fiji for river tubing in Navua. They take you up the river by boat, walk you through a village, visit a waterfall, cook you lunch and then plonk you on a rubber tube so you can float back down the river. What an experience. I’d highly recommend booking @river_tubing_fiji, it’s a long day but well worth it.
We finished our trip with food that was familiar and easy because sometimes, you just need it.

Fiji so far… so zen 🧘🏻‍♀️🌅

The hospitality here is incredible, the people of Fiji are so friendly and joyous.
We are currently at @tropicaislandresort and we’ve been so well taken care of since we pulled up to the pier. Even on a raining day, we’ve managed to keep occupied with kayaking, feeding the fishes off the pier, snorkelling, couples massage and a sunset drink cruise later.
