MANCHESTER, NEWPORT & LONDON MARATHONS PT. 2🏅 What a last couple of weeks it’s been for our DRC marathon athletes! Some awesome performances, PB’s and 1st times have been achieved and we couldn’t be more proud of this amazing bunch! Dan - what a year it has been for Dan! 50 races before his 50th birthday started with the London Marathon last April and culminated with the London Marathon this year. Training and racing went brilliantly as we headed into London and if all went to plan, a sub-4 time was on! Unfortunately due to illness the night before, we flexed and it became about completing the race, the challenge and enjoying the day. Mission accomplished and over £7000 raised for the @phabcharity - awesome effort, Dan! Ellie - the journey to London started way back in August when due to a previous injury, we had to start from almost square 1. Through managing load/intensity, we were able to start the marathon-specific build in January in great shape. Targeting a sub-3:40 time we got really close and Ellie crossed the line in 3:40! Great running, Ellie! Lee - came to DRC after the London Marathon last year with the intention of training for a sub-4 marathon and targeting Manchester as the place to do it. A change to previous training and a different approach to his marathon build showed he was capable of a little more than we first thought! Around comes race day and the ‘human metronome’ as he is affectionately known by Andy got on pace and held that until the final 5km coming home in 3:43 and a 35min PB! Great work, Lee! Louise - running marathons during her Comrades Marathon training block is what Louise does! She does it brilliantly too by achieving PB’s and qualification for Comrades along the way. We knew that Newport would be a great shot at another PB and we weren’t wrong! Louise finished in 4:30 and a 14min PB! Awesome running, Louise! Jerry - after a fairly challenging training block, we went into the Manchester Marathon with two goals - complete the race and enjoy the day. Keeping it relaxed the whole way, Jerry finished in 4:31. Great running, Jerry! . . #run #marathon #manchestermarathon #runningcommunity #destinationruncoaching

ANOTHER TOP WEEKEND OF RACING 🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️ Huge congratulations to 5 of our DRC athletes who raced at the weekend. ⭐️ Susie, Dan and Vix headed to Hampton Court on Saturday and raced in the 10k event. All of them achieved fantastic times and Dan completed race number 45 in his @_50b450_ ⭐️ Laura raced a bit further a field in Wales in the 20 mile Beast of the Blacks event in the Black Mountains on Saturday. She managed to complete the race an hour quicker than the last time she did it in 2024. 🙌🏻 ⭐️ Lee raced a little closer to home in the @bathhalf on Sunday and stuck to the marathon pace effort we had set him and felt super strong the whole way which is great news ahead of the Manchester marathon next month. ⭐️ Dan raced again on Sunday in the Ramsbury Trail 10K to secure race number 46 in his @_50b450_ Great racing, team!! 🥳 . . #run #running #runners #runningmotivation #runningcommunity

🏅ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND OF RACING🏅 Lots of DRC athletes out and about last weekend doing brilliant things. 🏃🏻Lee took to the racetrack at Castle Combe in the Christmas Chilly 10K. In only his 2nd 10K race, he was looking to better his 1st 4 weeks earlier and PB again. He didn’t disappoint and left it all out there coming home with a 4 minute PB! 🙌🏻 🏃🏼‍♀️Lisa headed to Rushmoor Parkrun to do a 5K time trial to see what was possible over a shorter distance. Ably paced by @runningcoachbrian , Lisa ran strong from start to finish and put a really solid marker down with 1/2 marathon training in full swing. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️Zoe and Sophie headed into London for the Christmas Lights 10K for a socially-paced run taking in the sights and having some running fun at the same time! No strangers to racing hard and fast and achieving brilliant results, this change of pace certainly showed how much fun you can have in a race! 🎅🏼🎄 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️Louise and Hester took to sunnier climes jetting off to Lanzarote to race over the 1/2 marathon. Despite the heat and headwinds, they both ran a really strong race and had great fun out there too. More races to come in the Spring for both of them. 🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️Dan, Sarah and Susie braved the wet and muddy conditions in the Sussex Downs 12.4km race. Dan was ticking off race number 32 in his @_50b450_ and Sarah and Susie in support of Dan but also to get some solid trail miles under their belts, cruised round and put up two really good runs. Congratulations to all of you on your races!! It’s great seeing you all having fun and achieving brilliant results. . . #run #runner #runners #running #runningmotivation #runningcommunity #runninglife #runrunrun #runclub #runcoach #runcoaching #runningcoach #runningcoaching #runningcoaches #trailrun #trailrunning #halfmarathon #10krace #parkrun #destinationruncoaching #runningcoachandy #runningcoachbrian

“It’s an investment in your happiness” One of the things that unites the majority of my clients customers? Their deep, unwavering passion for music. They may have wildly different lives, systems, listening rooms, and musical preferences, but all of them share an uncommon dedication to getting as close to the music they love as they possibly can. “The Listeners” is a new series for my lovely long-standing client Kudos Audio that meets these dedicated music lovers in person. We wanted to hear their systems, see their spaces and find out why they listen with Kudos. In Episode 2, we met with Steve, guitarist and founding member of The Australian Pink Floyd Show. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Steve and spend time in his incredible listening space, which even featured a pub! 🍻 Thank you so much to my team Lee Broderick and Bec Hughes for helping us bring this idea to life 🎥 🙏 Full episode can be found on Kudos Audio’s YouTube channel. ✍️ Interview and comms @leebroderick 🎥 Film and stills @the.house.of.hues 🎸 Featuring Steve McElroy @australianpinkfloyd 🔊 Client @kudosaudio #kudosaudio #kudoslisteners #womeninbusiness #outsourcedmarketing #highendaudio
