What happens when a forensic entomologist returns home to investigate a murder that hits much closer than expected?

Meet Lee Clark, author of A River Remembers: A Red River Murders Mystery.

Lee shares the inspiration behind the novel, the real-life connections that helped shape one of its characters, and what led a longtime software technology professional to pursue a passion for fiction.

A River Remembers follows forensic entomologist Tegan McFarland as she returns to her North Carolina hometown after her aunt’s suspicious death. As more bodies appear, family secrets, hidden fortunes, and long-buried conflicts begin to surface.

For readers who enjoy forensic mysteries, Southern atmosphere, police procedurals, and twist-filled suspense, this is a story to add to the reading list.
