POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Spent the day cruising around on some beautiful country roads in central Ohio with @leeesposito.

His '54 Olds just got a new water pump, belts, rad hose, and some sorely needed brake work. Now it drives like a new car, and I couldn't help but feel like I was behind the wheel of a vastly inferior machine as my poor 260 V8 struggled to keep up with the nearly 70 year old 324 rocket. Funny how we innovated so much in the 22 years between these cars, but still managed to go backwards.

The mechanic that worked on Lee's 88 had some other cool projects in the shop including an all original '72 Cutlass convertible and a '56 Vette that was stunning from every angle.

Making the most of what little driving weather we've got left this year!

So grateful that @leeesposito let me shoot him for my first ever portrait project! Unfortunately Instagram forced me to crop my favorite one.
You might see some more school stuff on here since I've hardly been out of the house in the last month aside from working. Hopefully I'll get to shoot more "race cars" at the Hangover Nationals on New Years Day!

In 1968, The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission made the official decision to close some of the original parts of the turnpike poured in 1940. Those sections are now known as the Abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike. Not many people know, but almost all of it is open to the public for hiking and biking, including the original tunnels!
Today Lee and I hiked to (and through) the Sideling Hill Tunnel, the longest of the tunnels accessible by the public. The weather was perfect but dropped at least 20 degrees when we stepped inside.
This opportunity won't be around forever. The tunnel is beginning to fall apart inside and eventually it'll be too dangerous to trek through. If you're ever in the area, this is a must see.

I never tire of listening to that throaty 324 and those nasty glasspack mufflers. Yeah, life is better behind the wheel.

We stretched the legs of @leeesposito's '54 Olds out on some beautiful country roads today.
For a car old enough to apply for Social Security, this Super 88 still acts like it's ready to take on bowties, Ponchos, and Nailheads. They sure don't build them like this anymore. It's like riding on a sofa!

And in the blink of an eye, my first Hershey trip is over.
At the beginning of this week, @leeesposito me told that going to the AACA Fall meet would change my life.
-
What an understatement.
-
Each day at Hershey was its own adventure. I saw cars that I thought I wouldn't ever see in my lifetime, learned more than I have in an entire semester of school, and watched die-hard enthusiasts from every corner of the world find treasure they'd been seeking for years.
-
Without Lee, this trip wouldn't have been possible. This is all thanks to him. I can't put into words how grateful I am for the opportunity to have been a part of one of the biggest automotive events on the planet. If you ever have the chance to attend the Fall Hershey meet, do not let it pass.
I promise it'll change your life.

Interesting how fate works. It looks like Barry is going to perform at an arena close to my house on my birthday. Does anyone think that this is going to be a good seat?
