As we quickly approach our one-act piece, Once on This Island, we’d like to start introducing our designers, or in this case, our Stage Management and Technical Direction team. They have worked hard since the summer to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and they are truly proud of everyone who has worked on this show!

Savannah is a senior in the Technical Theatre Magnet, and Once on This Island will be her 3rd show she has stage managed at Lee High School! Since being in the magnet, she has also had the incredible opportunity of playing Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank and Velma Kelly in Chicago Teen Edition.
This process was truly incredible, and she couldn’t have asked for a better cast and crew to do her Senior One Act!

Luis Francisco is a junior in the Technical Theatre Magnet. He is excited to be an ASM for the second time this year, with the last time being during Chicago: Teen Edition. He will continue to be to work well with everyone he is put with. Luis is proud of all the work that has been put into this show. He is thankful to work with his current team.

Exodus Maxwell is a junior in the Technical Theatre Magnet. She is overly excited to be an Assistant SM for Once on This Island. While managing two roles during this show, she has put effort into both of them. Exodus is proud of herself and others who have put time into this amazing show.

Laylah Harrington is a sophomore at Lee High School and is a first year in the Technical Theatre Magnet. She is super excited to work as an Asst. Stage Manager for our one-act this year, Once on This Island. Laylah is very thankful for everyone involved in this show and for this new and fun experience. She hopes to do more in the future.

Toby Osin is a senior in the Technical Theatre Magnet. He is currently the Assistant Technical Director and has loved the experience of working on this show. He was previously the ATD for Chicago: Teen Edition and Shakespeare (Abridged). Toby will continue his work as an ATD and hopes everyone enjoys the work he and others have put into our shows.

Our first show is Thursday Oct. 22nd and our competitive one-act piece is a MUST SEE. We can’t wait to share all of our ha

Lee High School is coming off a dominant season that ended with an Elite Eight appearance. The Generals lost eight seniors, but they retained a crucial piece of their success: Coach Brown, one of Alabama’s most accomplished coaches.

Brown will have a solid backcourt led by returner Eric Foster III and newcomer Collin Wilson, who figures to play a major role this season. Antonio Brown brings hard-nosed defense, while Germaine Sapp, McKinley Jones and Christian Scruggs give Lee length, scoring, rebounding and versatility. Eli Taylor adds another skilled wing with the potential to emerge and make the Generals even deeper. Their schedule is always like a prep school national schedule with flights and roadtrips to prepare for tough environments and get opportunities for kids outside of Alabama.
