A little throwback to my time at @pennstatemusic conducting "Fast Forward" by Joseph Schwantner, a chamber concerto for solo percussion, percussion quartet, piano, and double bass.

This piece was a rewarding challenge, full of energy, color, and intricate rhythmic layers. I’m grateful to Dr. @leehinklemusic for the invitation and for the opportunity to work with these wonderful musicians.

Very proud to have presented at The Space Between V alongside @samwdrums and for the @canpercnet. This has easily been the best trip for my career, and I’m excited to see where CPN and I can take percussion academia in Western Canada.

I owe a lot to Sam for taking me under his wing with Six-Mallets, @michael.r.schutz for taking a chance on us and having us present, and all the wonderful people at TSB who wanted to genuinely learn about… everything.

Now that it’s officially summer, it felt appropriate to share this #watercolorsun throwback from the @pennstatepercussion Festival & Conference in April 🎨☀️

I promise I absolutely love what I'm studying - but when I tell you I barely finished this past semester.. 😭

I am so darn grateful to have all these wonderful people in my life, I truly don't think I would've gotten through this year without them. 🥺

I'm excited for the future!! 🤭

Behind every Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra performance is a group of extraordinary musicians choosing to share their artistry with our community here in Happy Valley.

The PCO creates something truly special: professional performance opportunities for talented musicians right here in Central Pennsylvania while bringing world-class music experiences to our audiences, students, and families.

Today from 3–4 PM is our Centre Gives Power Hour, and your donation can help us earn additional funding to continue supporting the musicians who make this organization possible.

If the PCO has ever moved you, inspired your family, or made this community feel a little more connected, we would be so grateful for your support today. Even a $10 donation makes a difference.

Please help us continue creating opportunities for local musicians to perform, grow, and share their music with Happy Valley. ❤️🎻🎶

This week, during Centre Gives (May 6 & 7), we have a chance to directly support the organizations that make Happy Valley feel like home.

The Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra is one of those rare gems…. and the faces in this video are why.

🥁 Lee Hinkle, Principal Percussion
🎼 Caitlin Martinkus, Executive Director
🥁 Gabriella Reyna, Percussion
🎻 Jordan Askew, Bass

These aren’t just musicians. They’re your neighbors. Your COMMUNITY. People who choose to make art here and make this place magical for all of us.

Supporting PCO means:
- Supporting local artists
- Supporting music education
- Supporting a vibrant, connected COMMUNITY

If you believe the arts should thrive in Happy Valley and you want to directly support access to amazing live music, choose the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra during Centre Gives.

Every dollar makes a difference. 💙🤍
