WE LOVE HILDEGARD carolyn note: Hildegard Fest is my weird baby and I am so glad we are collectively caring for her! As I recovered from the sheer exhaustion I felt today I also felt very happy and intensely grateful to be in this community of artists. Thank you to Casey and Andy @c.rosebridge @selectlevel for your artistic collaboration to bring our new HvB songs to life and supporting my Hildegard madness. I have much gratitude to @crystalbethmusic, @leenirama, @alicedoescomputermusic and @old.man.of.the.woods for putting together sets for this occasion. I am thankful to everyone who contributed to the zine, Em and Victor you are the best! thank you for running the door, Vermillion and the staff are perfect hosts of our event. Thank you to the plants in the forest near my house that I gathered yesterday morning. Thank you @lisahagenglynn for taking photos all evening!!!!! I appreciate every single person that came out last night, and existed in the space with so much attention and intention. Finally, I feel in awe of Hildegard most of all for creating art and ideas that still resonate with so many people today, a thousand plus years later..... Every Creature has its power, Every Stone is Green! Mt Fog

Hildegard 26 was a joyful, fun, cathartic and ridiculously musical. We channeled Hildegard's spirit and it was a special evening all around. Thank you to Vermillion for hosting us, to Old Man of the Woods, Alice Does Computer Music (with special HvB merch!!!), Mt Fog, Leeni, and Crystal Beth and the Boom Revival. There were new songs debuted last night that shook us to our CORE. We are absolutely magical! and music is nothing short of a beautiful spell. THANK YOU to everyone who came out on the eve of Hildegard's Feast Day to celebrate our favorite 12th century mystic and be in this space together. And thank you to Lisa Hagen Glynn for capturing the evening in these stunning photos! "no tree blossoms without greening power, no stone is without its moisture, no creature is without its own power." -HvB viridissima xoxo Hildegard Fest/ Carolyn All photos by @lisahagenglynn Go follow these artists (like for reals, not just on the social media) and support their music and art creations: @crystalbethmusic @leenirama @mt.fog @alicedoescomputermusic @old.man.of.the.woods support @vermillionseattle because they are really a cool special spot in Seattle

As most of you know, Rat City Recon presents live music in the rink every Friday night. We just took the ninth of July off and are so excited to get back to it. Tonight is going to be awesome with Leeni and Mountain Holler! Come brave the miserable weather and welcome live music back to Southgate! See you there!
