🐾 MEET STARLIGHT, THUNDER, NOVA & FRED — LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🐾

These four sweet 4-month-old kittens are from Linda’s Colony in Honolulu, born near the shipyard where they survived storms earlier this year ♥️

Being near heavy traffic and unwelcoming businesses, we knew these little ones deserved the chance to grow up somewhere safe, loved, and protected — so they were brought in from the streets and given that chance 🥹🐾

Starlight, Thunder, Nova and Fred are being fostered by one of our wonderful volunteers, and they are now ready for their next chapter: forever families of their very own 🏡♥️

Each one has their own wonderful little personality — from playful and confident to cuddly, gentle and sweet. They’ve already come such a long way from where their lives began. All four have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a kitten (or maybe two 🥰) to your family, please consider giving one of Linda’s Colony babies the loving home they deserve.

Please scroll through to learn a little more about each of them. Starlight and Thunder are bonded, and we would love to see them find a home together if possible, although they can still be adopted separately ♥️🐾

Interested in adopting? Please send us a DM.

And if you can’t adopt, sharing this post can help their future families find them ♥️🐾

Meet Theodore (“Theo”) 🩵🐾

We’re so happy to share that this sweet wobbly boy is finally indoors and receiving the medical care he desperately needed.

It took some time to get him to safety. After an initial rescue attempt a couple of weeks ago, Theo became frightened and escaped. Last Friday, one of our incredible volunteers was finally able to safely trap him, and he saw the veterinarian on Sunday. He is now being cared for at a local rescue. Despite everything he’s been through, Theo has shown no aggression since coming into our care.

Thank you to everyone who donated after our first post about Theo. Your generosity covered his exam, bloodwork, and some of his medications ♥️

Theo’s bloodwork showed that he is FIV-positive, with findings that are suspicious for FIP. He is also being treated for toxoplasmosis. Understandably, he was very scared and didn’t eat for the first few days, but we were so relieved to find his food bowl empty yesterday morning. 🥹 He is also being syringe-fed to help supplement his nutrition while he recovers.

We’re now fundraising for Theo’s ongoing medical care and FIP treatment. If he completes treatment and makes a full recovery, he won’t be able to return to the colony. After spending months recovering indoors, it simply wouldn’t be safe for him. Instead, our hope is to find him the loving forever home he deserves ♥️

If you’re able to donate, share Theo’s story, or keep him in your thoughts, we’d be so grateful. Every act of kindness brings Theo one step closer to the safe, happy future we’re hoping for 🩵🐾

We’ve set up a GoFundMe for Theo—link is in our bio if you’d like to support his medical care.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to recovery. Thank you for standing with Theo ♥️

Meet Callie 🤍 Callie is a senior girl from Linda’s Colony in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.

She spent years living on a nearby shipyard property where the owner wanted the cats gone. Rather than allowing rescuers to help through TNR or other humane solutions, access to the property was refused. Over time, chicken wire was installed along the bottom of the fence and barbed wire along the top, making it even more dangerous for the cats to move between the shipyard and the feeding locations.

As the oldest cat on that street, Callie could no longer climb the fence to reach the food we put out each day. We knew we couldn’t leave her behind. Rescue became the only option.

What happened next amazed us.

For years, Callie wouldn’t let anyone—not even Linda, who fed her every day—touch her. But the moment she came indoors, it was as if she knew she was finally safe. She immediately leaned into pets, started making biscuits, and has shown us the sweetest, most loving personality.

Now she’s discovering soft beds, gentle hands, and all the love she deserves. She gets along well with other cats and is ready to spend her golden years in a forever home.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion, Callie would love a family to call her own. If you’re interested in adopting this beautiful Hawaiian princess, please send me a DM. Off-island transport can also be arranged. ❤️🐾 please share, thank you ♥️

‼️🚨 We urgently need your help 🚨‼️

We may have an emergency case at Linda’s Colony. One of our colony cats is showing neurological symptoms, and we’re concerned he could have toxoplasmosis or neurological FIP. We won’t know for sure until he can be safely trapped and examined by a veterinarian.

Last night, he was extremely wobbly, which is not normal for him. He was also making biscuits and crying, which makes us worry he may be in distress. Our hope is to secure him this evening, get him to a veterinarian for testing, and then make a treatment plan based on the results.

The problem is that we simply don’t have the funds. Right now, our reserves are already stretched just trying to feed the 150+ cats that rely on Linda’s Colony.

If you swipe left, you’ll also meet Callie. 🩷 She’s now safe in a foster home with one of our dedicated feeders. Because she isn’t with a rescue, we are covering all of her care independently. If you or someone you know is looking to adopt a sweet, healthy senior cat, Callie is ready to find her forever home. She’s incredibly affectionate, gets along with other cats, and is an expert biscuit maker.

If you’re able to help, you’ll find links in our bio to our GoFundMe, PayPal, Amazon Wishlist, and merchandise store. If you prefer to donate through Venmo or Zelle, please send me a DM.

We know times are difficult, and we understand that not everyone can give. But if you’re able, no donation is too small. Every dollar helps us provide food, veterinary care, and hope to cats who have nowhere else to turn. If you’re not able to donate, please share this post, it is just as powerful as a donation.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Linda’s Colony ♥️🐾

Meet Callie — “Shipyard Callie” 🩷

This sweet senior girl is from Linda’s Colony.

Callie was recently trapped and brought into safety after months of concern for her well-being. She lives on a shipyard property alongside many of the colony cats, where an ongoing conflict with the property owner has made life increasingly dangerous.

The owner believes that because we feed the colony nearby, we are responsible for the cats living on his property. He refuses to let anyone on the property to help him with TNR. Instead, he just wants them all gone and could take dangerous matters into his own hands.

In recent months, he has lined the bottom of the fence with chicken wire and added barbed wire to the top in an effort to keep the cats from entering or leaving. Most of the younger cats have still managed to find their way through.

But not Callie.

As the oldest cat on this street, she can no longer climb the fence to reach the food we put out each day. We knew we couldn’t leave her behind. Rescue became the only option—not only for her safety, but to ensure she could eat.

Callie is now safe in our care and is staying with a local rescue while she receives the medical care, nourishment, and love she deserves. Our hope is that once she’s deemed healthy, this beautiful old girl will finally find the forever home she’s always deserved 🩷

We need your help.

Your donations will go toward Callie’s veterinary care and recovery, while also helping us continue our mission of feeding and caring for the 150+ cats of Linda’s Colony. Please see our go fund me, PayPal, or amazon wishlist our bio. Zelle and Venmo available via DM.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing Callie’s story is just as meaningful. Every share helps her story reach someone who may be able to help—or perhaps even become the person who gives her the loving forever home she deserves 🩷

Thank you for standing with Callie and with Linda’s Colony. Every cat deserves safety, food, and the chance to be loved 🐾
