I was a person with a life before this? 🤣 Your career is a huge part of your identity & without it, you totally forget who you are sometimes. It’s hard to have goals when I don’t even know when I will work again. But for all who’s been asking, I’m getting by! I’m staying motivated & transforming my business in different ways!! This has been such a great time to work on the back end of things. It’s a true test to our creativity & to see if our businesses can make it in these crazy times.

Opening my studio made the year so fast paced I felt like I couldn’t keep up. With the studio being closed & everything being so slow currently it’s a nice break from reality. But when you love what you do for work, it seems like this pandemic is going to last a lifetime.

All this time has me thinking... “I wish I could work, wish I could make money, I wish that things could be different.” But that’s selfish thinking. We all slip into this mindset of how this effects us directly. We are human, its in our nature to survive & put ourself first.

But I challenge you to shift your mindset into the greater picture of “why” we are sheltered in place. WHO this effects. WHO has suffered from this emotionally & financially. Instead of thinking, “I’m so mad that I can’t do A, B, & C.”
Just because we aren’t in as bad of shape as other states or countries doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do our part. We are putting the things we love, who we were before this, & what we were comfortable with doing on the sidelines. We are thinking about how to work together to flatten the curve & to respect others who are hurting more than we are.

Appreciate & value this time to work on yourself. Learn a new hobby, watch that tv series you’ve wanted to catch up on, explore outdoors, or just sit on your toosh & relax. Facetime/video chat with your friends & family, send them love from wherever you are. Check in on your coworkers. Support local businesses. Support medical staffs & all other essential workers risking their health to keep things afloat. We are all in this together! 💕 #quarantineandchill

Learning to say “no” has been something I have been working very hard on. Learning to say “no” to things that do not serve me or make me grow has helped tremendously in bringing me peace of mind. I am learning to put myself first in 2020 and stop worrying so much about hurting others feelings at the cost of my own. What are you working on this year? 🦋✨
