Bruce Springsteen showed up at our first Stand Up for Heroes show 20 years ago, before we had any idea if this would even work. Jon Stewart was there in those first few years when the star power really helped us help more people.

In good company... ✨

Still feeling so inspired by the incredible group of women I had the privilege of sharing the stage with at the @morphmom event. Hearing their stories sparked something within me and reminded me of the power of vulnerability, connection, and community.

For years, I’ve shared pieces of my journey, but listening to these women reminded me how important it is to keep telling our stories—not because we have all the answers, but because our experiences might help someone else feel a little less alone.

A very special shoutout to @doergek, who I was honored to share the stage with. A year ago, I reached out to her on Instagram because I was so inspired by her journey and the way she has transformed grief into purpose. Since then, she has connected me with incredible people, encouraged me in ways she probably doesn’t even realize, and shown me the power of leading with authenticity. I’m so grateful for her friendship and support.

Kate, congratulations on your book launch - Reimagining Grief - I can’t wait to read it!

And thank you to Kathleen and the entire @morphmom community for creating a space where stories matter, connections are formed, and women lift one another up. Thank you for inviting me to share mine.

Because at the end of the day, it’s all about connection. One conversation. One story. One act of kindness can change everything.

So here I am, leaning into my PVO Era—Purpose, Vulnerability & Optimism (and of course, Positive Vibes Only ✨).

We're proud to see Board Member @MarthaRaddatz spotlight Dr. @roccoarmonda incredible work on @GoodMorningAmerica.

Dr. Armonda was part of the team that cared for @Bobwoodruff after the traumatic brain injury he sustained in Iraq. Today, he continues to serve veterans living with TBI while also providing care to those wounded by war in Ukraine.

As he shared during the segment, “When we serve others, we become something bigger than ourselves.”
