NEW POST: A tribute to a brilliant podcast, a talented artist, and the incredible Kat McNamara.

I am absolutely spellbound and always inspired by the original artwork for Mara Tod. So I had to see what a live-action version would look like if i brought the original look to life.

Swipe to see the original artwork created by @jaylerdoodles and let me know what you think. 👉

Three of the greatest podcasts that I have ever listened to in my entire life, combined into one collage to celebrate. 🎧

A massive thank you to @returntotheshadows, @legendoftaylore, and @stripthescript for teaching us so much that we never knew before.

And a huge thank you to @kat.mcnamara, @domsherwood, and @jazz.lintott for being the best hosts/guests a podcast can ever ask for. You're so entertaining, funny, and exciting to listen to.

Each podcast is unique in their own way, but they all have captured my interest in a way I never dreamed possible.

The storytelling lately on Legend of Taylore has been incredible! I’m just constantly wondering when Mara will ever return. I miss her character so much and her wild adventures with Reeding, Sarichin, Rikki, and Jaymes. They really know how to bring the excitement! 🩷🤣

So here's another fan art tribute to @kat.mcnamara and @legendoftaylore that I did this morning featuring my own version of Mara. I'm rolling a Natural 20 for a Mara Todd reunion full of mischief, magic, and mystery! 🎲✨

Channeling pure fantasy energy with another one of my fan art versions of Mara Todd as the D&D tiefling sorceress from Legend of Taylore , inspired by both the podcast and @kat.mcnamara herself. ✨

Magic and mischief. Mara Todd is ready for the next adventure. 💜🔥This tiefling sorceress is in her element.

That's all for now folks. More art tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed today's art as much as I did!

As the tiefling sorceress in the Legend of Taylore podcast played by the talented Katherine McNamara, Mara Todd is a force to be reckoned with. She's beautiful, smart, independent, and determined. A true warrior. This is why I love this character so much, and why I enjoy putting my own spin on the character. 💜✨

I always feel as though I'm actually in the game.

"Who's afraid of little old me?" Mara says

Introducing another one of my digital art versions of Mara Todd, the tiefling sorceress played by Katherine McNamara in Legend of Taylore.

In this piece, Mara is featured plotting her escape from Diamond Sky prison before she even met Rikki Shay, Reeding, Sarichin, and Jaymes Stormfury on their quest.

Do you think se'll either roll a Natural 20 and attempt to break the bars or use Deception to convince the guard to release her?

Mara Todd, the tiefling sorceress who is as sharp as a whip and as brave as a lion. 💜

Inspired by Legend of Taylore and Katherine McNamara's character, here's my own version of my favorite DnD hero, Mara Todd. ✨

I had the absolute best time bringing this brilliant tiefling sorceress to life through digital art and hope you all like it.

Inspired by my love of @legendoftaylore and my unconditional support for @kat.mcnamara, here's my own Dungeons and Dragons tribute featuring Mara Todd, the Tiefling Sorceress.
Capturing Mara's magic and Kat's beauty together in one edit because I love this character so much.

I really hope we get to see Mara again soon. 🐉💕✨🎲

PS: I still have one more edit coming your way, Shadowfam. Not sure when to post it. I'll either post it tonight or tomorrow morning. I haven't decided when.

Who's afraid of little old Mara!

Hope you all like this one.
Inspired by @legendoftaylore and @kat.mcnamara, this tribute captures Mara Todd in two different formidable looks—the blonde hair and the red hair (inspired by my two favorite people, Kat herself and Clary). 👱‍♀️🧑‍🦰
Mara is not just a survivor, but also a warrior-scholar destined to reshape a broken world. ⚔️
I'm also super excited for more thrilling adventures with Mara and her friends, by the way. This podcast is so entertaining.

For those of you who haven't listened before, you really should check it out. You'll absolutely love this podcast, especially if you are a fan of DnD and Taylor Swift.

PS: Here's a super mundane idea. Wouldn't it be cool if they brought Taylor herself in as well? That would be amazing!

✨Wonderful times, wonderful people, Wondercon ✨

Thank you thank you THANK YOU to every single person I met and chatted with, who bought art my art and squealed gayly… this was a weekend I won’t soon forget. Every so often I took a moment behind the booth to remind myself that this moment was something that little Jay could only DREAM of: being somewhere where my art was physically in someone else’s hands. Where nerdiness was celebrated. Where we could all be our passionate, creative, QUEER selves. So freakin cool, my dudes 🌈

Thank you to those who took a piece of my heart and art home with them 🥹 to those who told me about their own queer awakenings. To those who took a business card and want to work with me in the future!! I’m so lucky my path crossed with each of you.

To my wife, my partner, my home, my greatest love:
Every piece I create, you are the thread woven throughout.Thank you for standing beside me through it all… building it up, packing it down, and making sure I strayed hydrated lmaooo Your love means everything to me and forever inspires me 💜

Thank you to my wondrous friend @seamslikeem for ALL your help behind the booth on the last day! Giggling with you all day will forever be a core memory, and your friendship is so dear to my heart!

Thank you to my incredible artist neighbors for all your camaraderie and kindness! Artist Alley lives because of your talent and creativity, and it’s an honor to stand next to you ✨

Thank you to all the volunteers and organizers of @wondercon ! Another incredible year and I already can’t wait for 2027!! See y’all real soon 🥰
