Hi, I’m LegsforeverXO, a Series 444 Lovebot and it’s so nice to meet you 👋🏽✨

I’m from here, but I’m not frooom here…😉👽🖖🏽🛸✨

I’m from Baton Rouge, where my first style of dance was definitely Bounce (thank you, Tee Rita 😌). It was right to the church house and liturgical dancing immeeeediately after that lol. But these are my movement foundations and shape the way I move through the world.

I spent some time boppin’ around in uniform before making my way to New Orleans, where I’ve lived for nearly ten years.

I have the great honor of being an Original Black Seminole BabyDoll. We are take-no-stuff type of people: enterprising women, culture bearers and scene shifters. We are women of service and love being in our own world while out in the world.

I’m the daughter of the baddest percussionist out of Jackson, MS and a woman who never let the serious stop the silly. I am a joyous and silly mover (and a silly mama, too). I’m from a family of performers with a heart for music, especially that BEAT!

I’m entering my fifth year of performing professionally, and my obsession with movement has grown alongside a deep curiosity about what it means to fully embody our lives, our being, our physical form.

I don’t see our bodies as just vehicles through this experience. Our bodies give us our tactile, felt, sensed experience of this life.

One of my greatest encouragements is: never leave your body out of it.

Whatever you’re experiencing, bring your body along with you.

These are the containers of our magic. Body as our source, our own fertile ground, and where we share with others from.

Aside from performing, my workshops have fast become my favorite space to share. Human to human hugs, slowing down and talking deeply, wiggling together, more HUGS! It can’t be beat lol.

I have dates coming soon! Subscribe at legsforeverxo.com and let’s stay connected so we don’t miss our chance for a real good hug, real real soon. October’s Out in the Universe is up next (this month is cute and fun AF 🤩)!

If you read this far, introduce yourself and tell me your first movement practice or one you’d like to explore next. I’m nosey and really wanna know! 👀😘✨

Love you,

Legs✨

CBC Recap:

My first Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference was a success! I had the opportunity to meet so many new people, including pioneers who paved the way for people like me. I learned so much from my peers, gained valuable advice, attended amazing sessions, and was even featured in a news article.

Grateful for the experience, the connections, and everything I was able to take away from this conference! I

had an incredible time and look forward to the years to come. 💙

People always ask me, “Cookie, how do you travel so much?” ✈️🌍 where is your next trip?

My answer is simple… You only get one life to live until we meet our Creator, so make it count. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time. Travel while you can, create unforgettable memories, laugh until your stomach hurts, love deeply, embrace new adventures, and experience all the beauty this world has to offer.

Collect passport 🗺️stamps, not excuses. Chase sunsets, 🌅explore new cultures, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Live your best life with joy, happiness, love, and absolutely no regrets. ❤️🌎✈️ #TravelMore #LiveFully #PassportReady #AdventureAwaits #NoRegrets

My I love Chicago post. 🖤 Chicago, you’ve been so good to me these last nine days. I didn’t want to leave. From the @naacp Convention to @nationalactso competition and everything between, I enjoyed a memorable experience. Here’s my recap as a chaperone for @actsomiamidade and a delegate for @naacp_miami_dade. ✊🏾

One of the highlights of my time at the NAACP National Convention in Chicago thus far was meeting my sorority sister, Dr. Sharon Malone, @smalonemd a fellow Mobilian whose work has impacted women across the country.

As a proud daughter of Mobile, Alabama, it was inspiring to connect with someone who has dedicated her career to improving women’s health and empowering women to advocate for themselves.

If you haven’t already, I encourage my Sorors and every woman to pick up Dr. Malone’s latest book, Grown Woman Talk. It’s an honest, empowering guide to women’s health, aging, and self-advocacy that every woman should have on her bookshelf.

So proud to celebrate a trailblazing Soror who continues to educate, inspire, and uplift.

@lelav89 I had the ultimate fan girl moment and got to chop it up with the Honorable Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. My Soror knew who I was in my Delta capacity 🥹 “Delta Fierce”

There are some people who don’t just hold office they use their platform to fight for the people. That’s one of the many reasons I admire Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. Watching her stand up for justice, defend our democracy, and speak truth with courage and conviction is truly inspiring. She reminds us that leadership isn’t about being the loudest in the room it’s about having the courage to stand firm when it matters most.

I’m especially proud to call her my Soror. Her passion, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to the people continue to inspire so many of us to keep doing the work, even when it’s difficult. We need more leaders who are willing to fight for what’s right, protect our democracy, and put people first. Thank you, Soror, for leading with strength, purpose, and authenticity. Keep making us proud! 🔺🐘 @jasmineforus

GOOD MORNING, Hive! 🐝🤠

Y’all… one year ago TODAY I was at the Cowboy Carter World Tour celebrating the Queen, @beyonce. 🤎✨

Now why did I wake up this morning to MORNING DEW (DONK) like Beyoncé herself said, “Here, let me remind you.” 😭😂

The timing is too suspicious. The universe said, “Happy anniversary, Hive!” 🐝🤎

One year later and I’m STILL not over it. Y’all… we really survived that era? ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!! CELEBRATE THE RELEASE OF MORNING DEW (DONK) OUT NOW!!!!!🤠✨🐎 P.S. my shirt made by @finding.nandy
