An unforgettable showcase at Montage Palmetto Bluff!

The Octagon Presents: The Gilded Lowcountry by artist @leliholmes is an absolute must-see. I am continually blown away by Leli’s vision and talent…she is easily my favorite artist in our area, and supporting our local creative community means everything to me 💕

Cheers to Leli on this incredible milestone. If you are anywhere near Palmetto Bluff, make sure you take the time to see it, you will not be disappointed! 🎨🥂

We’re delighted to celebrate artist Leli Holmes and the opening of her latest collection, The Gilded Lowcountry, at Montage Palmetto Bluff as part of Artistry in Octagon.

Inspired by the marshes, waterways, wildlife, and ever-changing light of the South Carolina Lowcountry, Leli’s work captures the beauty of the place we call home.

Join us for an intimate gallery opening and reception:

Thursday, October 8 | 4–5 PM
Octagon at Montage Palmetto Bluff
Featuring Leli Holmes | The Gilded Lowcountry

We love seeing local artists celebrated in the spaces that help tell the story of our region, and we hope you’ll join us to experience Leli’s work in person.

A local artist @leliholmes hand drew the buildings and places around our little town and turned them into the most beautiful wallpaper. Every time you look a little closer, there’s another familiar detail waiting to be found.

And maybe my favorite part? My kids play I Spy with the walls—searching through all the little buildings until they find our local donut shop. 🍩🥹 It’s one of those tiny details that makes a house feel so much more like home.

It feels nostalgic, personal, and a little bit magical—like wrapping our walls in a love letter to the place we’re raising our family.

Art has the power to comfort, inspire, and heal—and today, on National Arts & Health Day, we're celebrating the important role it plays in the patient experience.

Beaufort Memorial's Heart of Healing Program at Bluffton Community Hospital will feature artwork from talented local artists throughout the hospital, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the beauty and character of the Lowcountry. These thoughtfully selected pieces offer moments of calm, connection, and inspiration for patients, families, visitors, and caregivers alike.

Today we're highlighting another collection of artwork from the program and celebrating the many ways art supports healing beyond medicine. 💙
