The start of Mark McKinney’s (@mark_mckinney_) coffee career wasn’t exactly glamorous. His first coffee job was at a not-so-specialty shop (the name starts an “S” and ends in “bucks”) and his second gig involved donning a hazmat suit to add surprisingly dangerous flavorings to beans. Thankfully, he found his way to a third-wave café after moving to Paris in 2015.

Today, Mark is an authorized @specialtycoffeeassociation trainer and certified professional who leads monthly coffee tours of the city with @ok_coffee_tips. In other words, he’s in the know.
