Wyclef Jean wasn’t just a vibe—he was the vibe. From the moment he stepped on stage, he had the Fabulous Fox in the palm of his hand, joking with fans, engaging every section of the theater, and keeping the crowd on its feet. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Score and The Carnival, he delivered classics like “Ready or Not,” “Fu-Gee-La,” and “Killing Me Softly,” turning the audience into one massive singalong. Backed by a phenomenal live band, Wyclef seamlessly blended hip-hop, reggae, soul, and rock. His guitar work was a standout, showcasing the influence of his years alongside Carlos Santana and reminding everyone he’s one of music’s most underrated performers. The night’s biggest surprise came when Juvenile hit the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Later, Wyclef invited Gen Z—and eventually fans of every generation—onstage for dance battles and an unforgettable finale that felt like one giant family reunion. As the closing performance of MATI 2026, Wyclef delivered more than a concert. Last night, the return of St. Louis Fashion Week came to a close with a powerful finale runway show. Throughout the week, STLFW reminded us why fashion matters. It brought together designers, models, stylists, photographers, creatives, and supporters from across the region to celebrate artistry, culture, and community through fashion. Delux Magazine was honored to partner with the STLFW team to help spotlight Black designers whose collections, stories, and creative vision helped shape this historic return. From emerging talent to established fashion houses, the runway reflected the depth of creativity that exists right here in St. Louis. As the lights dimmed on the final show, one thing became clear: this wasn’t just the return of a fashion week—it was a statement about where St. Louis fashion is headed.
