The number one goal of starting Pantry Farm Co. was to grow lots of food for us, our family, and our friends. As the idea has developed I’ve realized the importance of educating our community about supporting local farmers. Now my goals have expanded: grow enough organic crops to supply some of our circle AND as much of our immediate community as we can. Also educate our community about local growers working hard to provide healthy organic crops right near where they live and work. The space to grow more food was offered to me for free, so the food it produces will also be free! We’ll only accept enough cash donations to meet the annual cost of seeds/compost/tool replacement if people following along love the project and would like to help support it. (This only helps fund annual seeds, compost, and essential tools/covers. I will fund the majority of the project on my own and will not take income from Pantry Farm Co.) Let’s find out where this project of growing food for our neighbors takes us! . . #realfood #community #localfood #smallfarms #buylocal

Welcome to my new garden project! Thanks to some friends, who kindly offered up some of their lawn, I’m going to be transforming a simple grassy area by their pond into a productive no-till garden! This will be a fun journey where I aim to grow food with minimal disturbance of soil, use high quality compost as my primary input (I see you @lenzenterprises ), and a broad fork as my number one tool @neversinkfarmtools to establish healthy soil, market garden style. I hope to help people learn what small market gardens look like, how they are established, and the work it takes to keep it productive. Follow me along on this journey of growing food across the pond! . . #marketgarden #notill #healthysoil #soillife #series

Awesome project in Stanwood this week! Concrete pad provides lower yard maintenance and can be used for an additional parking space, extended patio, access to the backyard, or a solution if you’re tired of pulling weeds! Our customer here was incredibly happy with our work and left a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on Google

We were walking through the garden together watching all the bees buzzing around our raspberry plants and noticed a bee that seemed very lethargic! Almost desperate for help. It was about to fall off a leaf while searching for flowers. I brought a chive flower nearby and the bee crawled right onto it quickly eating pollen. It didn’t even care if we touched it. After a few minutes recovering the bee flew up to other flowers with much more energy! In the grand scheme of things I know this was a single bee. Did it change the entire world? No. But that small act changed its entire world. Even if only for a short time, kindness gave life back to something in need. If we each took this approach, instead of quick judgment and criticism, what might this world begin to look like? Share kindness. The cool part…. you don’t even need a reason! Happy gardening! . . #gardening #growing #keeplearning #kindness #lovewins

Businesses like Lenz Enterprises help make that possible through their dedication, hard work, and commitment to quality. But their impact extends far beyond landscaping and outdoor projects.
