Studiolo. is interested in the conversations that emerge when art, interiors and the spaces we inhabit come together. Set within the historic College Garden and Cloisters of Westminster Abbey, our London event explores how context shapes the way we experience art and design, creating a dialogue between stunning artworks and centuries of heritage.

Studiolo. London 2026 is an opportunity to see art beyond the gallery and experience it in a setting rich with history, atmosphere and character.

In collaboration with @benpentreathstudio

Studiolo. is by invitation only

A great room by @benpentreathstudio

@leokary1 was so thorough in the planning of this tiled table - the qtys, the colours, the edges, the assembly! I can’t imagine it could be moved now without a pallet trolley.

It’s excellent! Thank you Leo & Ben Pentreath team

For Sale! - As WOW!house 2025 enters its final week and after an extraordinary response both in person and from across the world online for the @lopenjoinery @benpentreathstudio Kitchen - we’re delighted to share that all of the pieces are now available to buy!

As @rupertcunningham put it:
‘From a sustainability point of view, we wanted to create the least fitted kitchen possible, so that most elements are freestanding pieces that can find a home in other spaces once the show is over.’

With that in mind and as the space prepares to close its doors on Thursday — every piece in the room, each one beautifully handmade in our Somerset workshop, is now looking for its next chapter. That includes the now-famous Cook’s Table with its knapp-jointed cabinetry; the vast Kitchen Dresser (complete with integrated fridge and dishwasher); the handsome Drinks Cabinet and the much-loved Oak Shelves — to name just a few.

If you’d like to bring a little piece of WOW! history into your own home, do drop us a message...we’d love to hear from you.

*A portion of the proceeds will go to the brilliant charity @united_in_design whose work we’ve all been so proud to support throughout the past month.

Thank you for all the kind words, messages, and support- it’s meant an awful lot to everyone involved!

Another angle of a favourite corner in our Wow! House kitchen, beautiful captured by @peterdixonphoto The @howardandsonslondon armchair is a supremely comfortable, upholstered in the @sibylcolefax chintz, Ebury Brown on glazed cotton which harmonises beautifully with the room colours. Next to the chair is an octagonal antique side table, which chimed perfectly with our Greco-Gothick vibe, and a silver plated standard lamp, both from @robertkime with a papyrus shade. The floor is covered with reclaimed pine boards, which have a satisfying creak, and the walls are painted in a custom distemper, built-up in painstaking layers by @mbmcstudios to create this deep sun-drenched mustard colour. The seascape is by John Nash and depicts the Isle of Skye and was generously leant by @stonemancollins_advisory and reframed by @stocksframing.london for the show. The bolection chimneypiece is from @jamb_london in my favourite Mongolian marble. We designed the cabinet of curiosities which Leo lined in a Jasper ‘French Tile’ paper that provides a gilded backdrop to @georgejacksonltd Georgian plasterwork and boxwood moulds. The curtain to the left was made by @atcroninworkshopltd in Fela stripe by @adambraydesigns and the copper light doors are from @retrouvius Wall lights are from @howelondon with marbled shades by Louise Daly and the antique flower jug is from @spencer_swaffer #countrykitchendesign #victorianinterior #plastercast #backofhouse #traditionalkitchen #wowhouse2025

1. Rooted in heritage: The platonic ideal of an English country house kitchen - and the stuff of our dreams. Celebrating what's behind the green baize door @benpentreathstudio channels Greco-Gothic architectural details and in fact embraces every detail, down to the inside of the painted drawers, almost imperceptible hinges and dovetails to die for. Each piece by @lopenjoinery feels discovered rather than designed, with a charming nod to tradition and irreverent acknowledgement of daily life 🪵🌱 We're moving in!

2. Divine escape: Step into a tropical reverie. Celebrating five decades of garden design, @randlesiddeley reimagines the orangerie as a luxuriant oasis. A cascade of verdant planting, bespoke furniture @mckinnonandharris and playful styling by @studiomiaki set the tone for slow afternoons, cocktail hour, or an elegant garden party 🌿 Raise a glass - and ready your clippers!

Drawing on the ‘below stairs’ spaces of the Regency country house for inspiration, where the practical and the beautiful were intertwined in the sculleries, pantries and kitchens. The Lopen Joinery Kitchen by Ben Pentreath Studio playfully weaves Greek and Gothick detailing through the various pieces to give them a natural, collectable affinity. Immaculate craftsmanship and architectural design has been layered with gorgeous antiques, creating a kitchen that one can only dream of… a real WOW! moment at this years showhouse.

Biggest congratulations to @lopenjoinery @benpentreathstudio and the incredible team behind the kitchen @rupertcunningham @alice.aj.montgomery @leokary1 (Ps. This interview was not sponsored by @patatastorresofficial 😉)
