This is the acoustic version of the same song.
Thank you, Lova, for contributing her voice.
Thank you to those who inspired it.
And thank you for listening.
My shoes are old - but thank you for walking this road with me.

30 years ago, I graduated in the U.S.
But I didn’t stay—because deep down, I knew I wanted to make music in Hong Kong.

It was the golden age of Hong Kong music—
underground bands were everywhere: AMK, Huh, Anodize, Black and Blue….
There were live shows every weekend, even Commercial Radio hosted a concert at the Coliseum.
That night, I performed this very song.

We were signed with a label,
but the songs I loved the most?
They somehow never got recorded.

Those demos sat in a drawer for decades.
I tried to re-record them many times over the years,
but my voice had aged, my mindset had changed.
The fire was still there—just… different.

Then came AI.
And for the first time, I could recreate these songs
with the voice and emotions I had back then.
Same melodies, same lyrics—untouched, unfiltered.

What you hear now is my heart,
exactly as it was 30 years ago.
Listening to it feels like having a conversation
with that angry, idealistic kid I used to be.

Although…
maybe I’m still just an angry idealistic old man now.
I hope I’ve answered his question.

Wrote this song many, many years ago—
alone in a quiet corner of America,
with only silence for company and space to spill my thoughts.
Now, in the same house where I was 30 years ago,
I hear it sung back to me by a voice not quite human.
Far from perfect—yet strangely familiar.
And that face…
a ghost of who I might’ve been,
singing from a world that never was.
Strange. Emotional. Distant.
Like memory echoing through a mirror.

🎸💔 一生所愛 · 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆
Lowell Lo’s performance almost brought me to tears.
So I asked myself—what if I covered this song… in the style of Wong Ka Kui?
And who could forget that iconic scene in Stephen Chow’s 𝘈 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘖𝘥𝘺𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘺 西遊記?

This song is my tribute.
To the heroes who shaped me.
To a time when music and film meant something.

Picture this: the same old 90s leather jacket, my Les Paul in hand, standing in the windswept ruins of Zhenbaibo 鎮北堡, Ningxia—where films like 𝘼𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 東邪西毒 were shot.
Because this one… is personal.

Do you know what, or who is the love of your life?

這應該是香港第一批Veo3 videos

What does it mean to be a creator
when a machine can dream faster than you can feel?

Veo 3 is astonishing — no question.
But behind the wonder, there’s a quiet grief.

The rituals of making — of struggling, of crafting, of becoming — are fading.

Now, we type a prompt… and entire worlds appear.

Beautiful, yes. But effortless.
And maybe that’s the most terrifying part.

If art no longer costs us anything…
What does it still mean?

In the quiet moments of the city, sometimes you find yourself in unexpected places. Hidden alleys hold stories untold, waiting for those who pause and look up. Where does this path lead? What am I searching for? 🤔 #UrbanExploration #HiddenCorners #CityVibes #LookUp”
