The frustrating fact I'm learning in my life right now: Everything and everyone worth having in my life demands that I work incredibly hard to have and HOLD. And I am learning to enjoy whatever pain I may encounter because the outcome is always worth it.

I thank God for the leaders I have in my life.

Está rolando o Pan No-Gi, e esse é um campeonato que eu tenho um carinho muito especial.

Foi no Pan No-Gi que vivi uma das viagens mais marcantes da minha vida. Foram 25 dias longe de casa, passando por Roma, Lisboa, Açores e depois Dallas. Uma viagem que foi muito além das competições. Fiz amizades que levo para a vida toda, irmãos que o Jiu-Jitsu me deu e histórias que vou carregar para sempre.

Foram 4 eventos, em 25 dias:
🇵🇹 Lisboa Open
🇮🇹 Roma Open
🏆 Europeu No-Gi
🏆 Pan No-Gi

E fui campeão em todos eles.

Quando olho para trás, fico muito feliz por tudo que o Jiu-Jitsu me proporcionou. Não apenas pelas medalhas, títulos ou resultados, mas principalmente pelas pessoas que conheci, pelas experiências que vivi e pela oportunidade de ser uma pessoa de verdade, construir minha própria história e deixar um legado.

Esse ano eu iria lutar o Pan No-Gi novamente, mas por motivos maiores não consegui estar lá.

E, mesmo de longe, acompanhar esse campeonato mexe comigo.

Mas uma coisa eu tenho certeza: a minha história no Pan No-Gi não se encerrou.

Muito pelo contrário.

Ainda tenho muita história para escrever. 🥋❤️

A mix of emotions, life has been so different, consistently adjusting and trying to figure things out, I’m thankful for every phase and challenge, for real, I know I always become a better version of myself in every aspect. I’ve been extremely disciplined with things I can control, and trying to have an open mind about the things I can’t. This tournament brought different challenges and adversities, but with faith in the Higher Power, faith in my work ethic, with the support of my best friends, specially my best friend (wife) that has been working with me through life, we made it.
