Thanks to @eberhardtmarie for capturing the bts 🤍

trusting the process

playing ping pong

letting it flow

testing the limits

losing control

over and over again

and failing to find it again

but never losing the humor

and the overview

collaborating with magic hands

and more magic hands

then the moment it all comes together for the first time

and everything becomes tangible, spatial…

…surreal, real and very emotional ✨

Months without posting, and a lot has happened.
Starting with the highlight: I created a 36 minute film that was part of the closing concert of this years Istanbul Music Festival. An interdiscplinary project of my dreams with so many talented people premiering on 25th of June at Sūreyya Opera House Istanbul.

Listening to Kaan’s compositions, coming to life after a year of talking about it, with Sarah’s incredible voice, that let me experience goosebumps on other levels, with the string quartet and Amanda’s movement come together in front of my visuals was so special. Not easy for me to feel proud, but in this moment I did.

So grateful for this adventure, thank you @kaanbulak for your trust and for bringing us all together. We barely had time to rehearse, partly didn’t know each other before and instantly became such a dream team. Now back in Berlin we’re regularly eating Künefe together and being a little melancholic about it all and excited for what comes next with this one. 💚

Link in Biooo 💐

Danki an alle Sabrina, Paulina und Nastja, Danki an @drivebeta Danki an @zdf.de

The door shapes the crowd, the crowd shapes the party – and the party forms the foundation. From the selection to the organisers: cooperation, trust and an understanding of the passion and emotions that every event brings are crucial.

In this excerpt, the protagonists DJ Isa GT & DJ Pvssy Divx (@puticlub_berlin), Miri & Amba (@mamba.berlin) and Yi & Jin (an(8)x @an8x.festival) discuss the symbiosis of these different areas and how important a good crowd is for a successful party.

Solidarity in Motion was created as part of DAB—Diversitygerechtes Ausgehen in Berlin (Diversity-Friendly Nightlife in Berlin), a project that has lived and promoted these values for over five years.

BTS Kamera: @voila_el
