Often we are in the shadows; it is when we step forward that we see it. The reason we see the shadow is the light. We will see the shadow when we follow the light.
Everything grows in the dark; it takes time, and in time, at a pace that grows, what grows will be illuminated. Find the light and stand within the peace that light brings.
Never be afraid of the shadow.

Your self-worth is your power; it comes from within. The inner temple holds our light, and our true power lives there. When we stand in our truth, our character is without ego; we shine our light, which is our self-worth. Too often, people let others' opinions dim their light and forget that we carry our own light; do not let others make you dim it.

Sometimes, starting the conversation is the hardest part.

Today, on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, we want to shine a light on Say It Lad - an initiative giving men a place to talk, listen and share what’s on their mind, completely anonymously.

𝗡𝗼 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝘂𝗽. 𝗡𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Because sometimes you don’t need a big conversation. Sometimes, hearing “Yeah, I’ve been there too” is enough to help you feel less alone.

With around 𝟳𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗻, making it easier to talk matters.

Take a look, share it with a mate, or simply help spread the word.

Look after yourself. Look out for your mates. And don’t be afraid to ask, “You alright, mate?”#SayItLad #MensMentalHealth #SuicidePrevention

Thoughts are just thoughts. They are not absolute truths or real facts, and once we become aware and recognise this, they have a lot less power over us.

Together, Talia and Leon explore the lifelong impact of childhood experiences, the non-linear journey of healing, and how faith, purpose, self-love, and vulnerability have helped him rebuild his life. This is an emotional conversation about surviving the darkest moments, embracing authenticity, and discovering the strength to keep getting back up.
