The annual Les Dames business dinner celebrated our new inductees and scholarship winners. As I pass on my presidential duties into the capable hands of @ndibona , I am staying on the board as past president to help continue our mission and to stay connected to this wonderful group of generous women. The meal and service from @walnuthillcollege was exceptional and revolved around fall pears. I have loved making new friends and meeting up with old ones. It reminds me of the childhood song we would sing; “Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other’s gold”. Love to my partner , co president @chef_jacquiekelly Let’s keep up our weekly phone calls! You rock.

Your fav Diva was recently inducted into
Les Dames d'Escoffier Philadelphia Chapter for women who have served thru restaurants, fine beverage & hospitality.

Soul excited that I had this opportunity to join , meet some of my fav chefs, & grow even more thru the years in this industry. I've been in it for 25+ & in a few hours I was in a room of greatness that allowed me to see my pivot.
Thank you to the organization & members for a warm welcome, congrats to the other inductees, & thanks to Walnut Hill College for providing excellence thru food & service.
Experience Fulfilled!
I can't wait to keep getting my hands dirty!
From DiVa to Dame...💋
Bon Appetit!

Dinner at a mansion? Yes please!

Philly has so many incredible events and places, you just need to know where to go! This past Sunday I spent the day at the beautiful Glen Foerd Mansion for Les Dames d’Escoffier Philadelphia’s 2026 Heritage Dinner. This dinner is an open air celebration bringing together more than two dozen of the region’s incredible chefs, bakers and restaurateurs. Beyond the gorgeous setting, the evening celebrated women shaping the culinary and hospitality scene while supporting the next generation of women entering the industry.

A pretty perfect reminder of just how special Philly’s food scene really is. ✨ #phillyevents #phillyrestaurants #thingstodoinphilly #visitphilly #mansionhouse @glenfoerd @lesdamesphl

An afternoon of culinary dreams celebrating women chefs, trail blazers all, mentors, innovators, who are leading the way for the next generation of talent. For who are we without the hands that lift us up? The hands that shape dough, grow and prep vegetables, work with animals, manage kitchens, dining rooms, vendors? We are still tallying the total amount we’ve raised for our next round of scholarships. But this year was a record breaker. Here’s to @lesdamesphl and our honorees: @realbakingwithrose, @canalhouse, @12stcatering Thank you @terryfrishman_photographer for the additional photographs. #glenfoerd #philadelphia #womensupportwomen #lesdamesphil

There’s something special about being in a room where women in food and hospitality are celebrated.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Les Dames d’Escoffier Heritage Dinner at the beautiful Glen Foerd Mansion, an evening dedicated to honoring excellence, legacy and the people helping shape the culinary world.

For 10 years, the Heritage Dinner has celebrated recipients of the annual Outstanding in Her Field Award, and this year’s esteemed honorees were Rose Levy Beranbaum, Melissa Hamilton, Christopher Hirsheimer and Michele Leff.

We started with cocktails before sitting down to a family-style dinner featuring dishes prepared by talented area chefs, each inspired by the evening’s honorees. I love an experience where the food tells a story.

Technically, my field is in hospitality, so this was beyond memorable.

Good food. Incredible talent. Women supporting women. And a beautiful reminder that when we celebrate those who paved the way, we also make room for the women coming next.

We love our @lesdamesphl who support and honor women in the food industry. Their annual gala raised money for scholarships to support the next generation. We were excited to support the cake table in honor and appreciation of the amazing @realbakingwithrose, a beautiful night with delicious food. Congratulations to all of the honorees. Well deserved! @canalhouse @12stcatering
