Attended a contemporary workshop after a long time! 🤍

I started dancing recently after years and for the longest time I have felt like I am never good enough. I am making mistakes, there’s always someone dancing better, my body didn’t look the way I wanted. So I never took videos, let alone posted them.

As I get older, I’m slowly learning to care less about what people think. The self-consciousness is still there, I still notice all my mistakes and wonder if it’s good enough to post here. But this time I decided to do it anyway.

And maybe that’s the point. Not being perfect, not being the best in the room, just allowing myself to enjoy something I love without constantly judging myself.

Huge thanks to our teacher @lesterf07 for making us feel comfortable and giving us the confidence to forget everything and just enjoy! And to @lekhana_thummala for constantly encouraging me! ♥️

I don’t post much, but today this feels like overcoming a little bit of my own limitations!

Here’s to dancing anyway 🫶🏼
