•Estive com as minhas pessoas favoritas do mundo, especialmente com as minhas miúdas que o bookstagram me trouxe para esta vida: incrível como uma pessoa se pode sentir tão ela própria convosco.

•Depois de quatro anos deixei (kinda) minha ansiedade e finalmente tomei a decisão de partilhar a minha cara por aqui. Foi intensa, mas estou mesmo feliz por a ter tomado. Obrigada pelo vosso carinho.

Goodbye, 2025.

You were the year that forced me to understand a hard truth: life is tough, but I am tougher.
The year I doubted myself more than I ever thought I could. The year I learned how heavy sadness can be, how it can sit quietly inside you even during moments that are supposed to be happy. The year I cried, a lot. And still, somehow, stayed.

You were the year of survival.
Of waking up and choosing to move forward even when I didn’t know where I was going. Of carrying sadness with me while pretending I was fine. Of learning that staying alive can be an act of courage.

But you were also the year I learned how to turn the tables.
The year I began to look for light instead of waiting for it. I explored new horizons, found comfort in new hobbies, and learned how to notice joy in the smallest things.

You were not an easy year.
Yet you were full of hope, quiet wishes, and unexpected love. You taught me how to dream again. How to hold onto my dreams even when they felt too fragile, too far away. And most importantly, how to never give up on them, or on myself.

There was so much pain in you.
But there was also so much fucking goodness. I learned that my life is bigger than books, that my wishes matter just as much, and that saying no does not make me selfish, it makes me honest. I am still learning how to believe that I am not too much, that my feelings are not excessive, and that I am exactly who I am meant to be.

I would not have survived you without my people.
The friends I text every day. The ones who listen to my endless rambling and never make me feel like a burden. Your presence, your normality, your constancy: they make me want to stay. And for that, I will always be grateful.

2025 was not just a year.
It was a lesson. About life. About mental health. About who I am when everything feels heavy and who I can become despite it.

2026, I am ready for you.
Be gentle. Be kind. Be healing.
And please, be one for the books. 🤍

2024, what a roller coaster you were.

This year was basically one of the greatest and shittiest at the same time, and I am so proud to look back and see that I found joy in life again. I found myself through people, books, and friendships. I found myself in other’s words, other’s stories and I felt seen so many times.

2024, you were too good to me even when I was surrounded by dark thoughts and feelings.

The best thing that happened to me was how proud I feel right now of who I am. What I accomplished and what I did. I am proud of my chaotic being, my tumultuous energy, and my kindness.

I did so many things that I never thought was possible: I went to lake como, my dream trip, I met so many favorite authors, I made my first tattoo and I made friendships that are beyond words. But, I especially loved my life. I, finally, love me, and that was what 2024 was worth for.

I don’t know what the future will bring to the table and what fate has planned. Not everything was good, and a lot of shit happened throughout the year, but I am so damn sure that I came out stronger from 2024.

I only see me now, not a broken piece anymore.

We’ve waited months for this weekend and it was everything I hoped for and even better! Book friends are literally the best friends and the best of bookstagram is literally the friends you make! I am so thankful and grateful for mine, sorry girls but you’re stuck with me now 🤭

RARE EDINBURGH 2024 - photo dump ✨️

Oh Lord, where do I even start? Mentally, I am still in Scotland!

This book event was such a unique experience and I am so glad I could connect with a lot of my favorite authors and see so many cool places. I am in love with this city and, to be honest, I need to come back.

Meeting Brit was the highlight and I think everyone who was around us knows that. It was so, so great to be with her and rambling nonstop - it felt like I was talking with one of my besties and trying to convince her to read her own book 😂 I can't wait to be with her again - I LOVED to meet her. ALL of my friends purchase the book - that's how good I was at promoting BN&F.

Being with Hannah is always a pleasure and I really need to stop being so nervous around her 😂 it's a shame at this point but it's always so meaningful to be with her that I become a nervous wreck without even trying.

I still can't believe I meet and hug Lulu !! Guys, for real! She was the sweetest and I can't believe I could chat with her and thank her *in person* for creating New York Lions.

Corinne was a dream come true. Talking with her and thank her in person for every opportunity she gave me was so meaningful and I am forever thankful for her stories and for everything she gave me.

Laura, LIKE ALWAYS, the q u e e n. I loved how much she loved our t-shirts and how sweet and grateful she was. Truly a pleasure again!

And let me just fangirling because Liz and Somme KNOW WHO I AM and they recognize me?? Is this really life? Can I fangirl again??

Every single person that we meet was so good and sweet and I can't believe I could meet them and thank them for the stories they create 😍✨️

To my girls: I adore you and thanks AGAIN for being there. I appreciate you more than words can tell 🫶🏻

Oh RARE, oh RARE! Where should I even start? First of I really really wanna say that with out my girls, this wouldn’t have been the same for sure, they made this once in a lifetime experience so much better, @umlivroduplicado @fromthelibraryofjoana @letsbooktalk @d_dailyreading Thank you so much for putting up with me and my tantrums aka my anxiety peeks and making these last few days absolutely amazing 🤍🫶🏻 This even was an absolute dream and I can’t believe I got to meet all this amazing authors that I’ve been reading and falling in love with all the characters they write, it was so surreal! And look at all the trading and goodies that I got!! The first day was a little bit stressful but amazing nonetheless but the second day was so smooth and “relaxing” that we couldn’t even believe it! And as a plus I even got to meet one of my favorite booktubers ever aka @peacelovebooksxo 🫶🏻

I’ll definitely never forget these days and these people! Lets hope I can go to many more events like this! It’s definitely recommended to all book lovers at least once in your life 🤍

My 2023 Reading Wrap Up - just in time... 🎆🎇🎆🎇

I had an amazing reading year. I squeezed in a handful of books from other genres but my reading year consisted mostly of romance - who would have thought... 👀😂

So many great old and new authors, new amazing reads and several re-reads. And also a couple of surprises - I've never expected to love a romantasy so much that it put me in a six week reading slump or to read a five star dark rom-com 😂

I obviously had DNFs and books I really did NOT enjoy but I didn't want to include them in my 2023 Wrap Up. If you're interested you can DM me 😉

It was SO hard to narrow it down to three - I’m too indecisive for this and read a lot of good books this year. These are just a few favorites from three different genres.
