ஒரு சில கோடுகள் மாறினால், கமலம், கலகமாகுமா?

கமலம் blooms.
கலகம் erupts.

One carries the stillness of a lotus.
The other carries the energy of rebellion.

Yet here, both are constructed from the same visual language, narrow petal-like strokes, sharp turns and interlocking forms.

This Tamil lettering exploration began with a Gujarati lettering piece “Jhakaas” drawn by @kailash.dv and shared by @letterbox.india . I was fascinated by its compressed rhythm and blade-like shapes, and wondered how that movement might behave within Tamil letter anatomy.

The result became a conversation not only between two scripts, but between two Tamil words with entirely different temperaments.

Look closely:

கமலம். கலகம். கமலம். கலகம்.

A flower and a disturbance, blooming from the same strokes.

Which word did you notice first?

As modernization sweeps in, it's time to elevate Telugu typography. I had a great time crafting this typeface, which blends modern style with class and real font potential.

📮The legendary red post boxes of the Himalayas: once a lifeline, now a symbol of nostalgia. Chosen for their visibility and charm, these boxes powered handwritten connections for generations. As India Post ends its registered post service, we say 👋goodbye to an era—one letter at a time.
