Smooth moves, sharp tools, and a little controversy. 🔥

Putting the @LEVEL5Tools 12” & 6” knives to work, laying down that second coat like butter. 🧈

I like to finish coat my butt joints before running my flats. Some agree, some don’t… but the finish speaks for itself.

Hot mud is the professionals way to get small projects done fast.

But don’t think it’s the be all. If you aren’t use to it, it will bite. And believe it or not, the mix is just as important.

Every person has a different consistency they want, but here is how I go about it.

TWO PRODUCTS. ONE PROFESSIONAL FINISH. 🔴

The right tool and the right tape make all the difference in drywall finishing.

Meet the LEVEL5 Banjo Taper and THOMMIX Paper Tape, two professional products designed to support an efficient taping process and reliable joint reinforcement.

🔴 LEVEL5 Banjo Taper

This semi-automatic taping tool applies paper tape and joint compound simultaneously, helping professionals streamline the taping process and work more efficiently.

⚪ THOMMIX Paper Tape

Produced in house and developed in cooperation with end-users, our paper tape combines high tensile strength with a special porous design and perforations that help improve adhesion to the surface.

Designed to reinforce internal corners of plasterboard, it is also suitable for flat seams and can be applied both manually and with drywall taping tools.

With its resistance to stretching, creasing and tearing, THOMMIX Paper Tape helps create strong, reliable joints built to withstand the demands of professional drywall finishing.

At THOMMIX, we focus on developing reliable products that meet the needs of professionals on the job.

Professional tools. Reliable materials. Quality results.

Doing first coat on some butts with @level5tools 10” flat box and extendable handle. This is a quick way to get mud on the joint before covering the tape, doing butt joints this way is not only faster when working alone but with 2 people is very fast and efficient on bigger jobs. Get your own set at the link on my page.
