#tbt to @levelplayingfieldla bringing the youth to @ruckus_muay_thai for an insight to the martial arts and mentorship from the Champ🏆

I love getting a chance to give back to the community! This was an awesome day with the youth, we had laughs and lessons equally😂 My plan for the day was to teach a few simple techniques, a bit of bjj history and mentality while keeping it light and fun for the age group. Can't wait to do it again ⚔️❤️⚔️

So yesterday, we visited Kennedy Space Center and we had an absolute blast (pun intended 😂)! 🚀

Over the last year, we’ve found a sweet spot in STEM exploration, pairing it with our post-secondary exploration, our career exploration, and our “About That College Life” segments, so it was only right that we explore a place that incorporated all those components into one meaningful experience. And it was literally the icing on the cake!🧁

Here’s a little of what we did:
🚀 Shuttled from earth to Mars on a VR spaceship
🪨 Watched space rovers gather soil/rock samples from other planets in space
🧠 Learned that it takes 5-6 months to travel from Earth to Mars
📸 Proudly took pics with THE Captain Victor Glover (@astrovicglover ) and the Artemis II crew
⏳ Learned about NASA’s history and groundbreaking work in space exploration (although the history is missing some “hidden figures”)
🍭 Tasted and food reviewed space food (freeze dried strawberries and ice cream sandwiches; stay tuned for Eli and Jah’Marcus’ review-I think they prefer regular earth food over space food 🥴)

Yesterday was a day well spent, full of learning and future planning, as a lot of astronauts were born during this trip. And that’s the whole point, y’all! 👩🏽‍🚀 🌌 👨🏽‍🚀

🔥 Another amazing huddle with @levelplayingfieldla!

Today we wrapped up our 3D Printing Through AI Workshop, and the students absolutely delivered. 💪🏾🖨️

Today was the big exam, where participants put their knowledge to the test demonstrating everything they’ve learned about the 3D printing workflow, AI-assisted design with Meshy, and turning ideas into real objects.

From custom name tags to wearable designs, these young innovators showed incredible creativity, focus, and growth throughout the program. We’re proud of the skills they’ve developed and the confidence they’ve gained along the way.

The future is being built layer by layer — and it looks bright. 🚀

🔐 Cybersecurity Starts with Responsibility
9th Bridge had the opportunity to partner with Level the Playing Field to conduct a cybersecurity workshop focused on the responsible use of passwords and preventative measures to protect personal information.
Our young men learned that protecting your digital identity is just as important as protecting your reputation — online choices matter. Through real-life examples and hands-on discussion, we’re helping them build smart habits that will serve them now and in the future.
Knowledge is power. Accountability is protection. 💪🏾
