No fish were harmed in the making of this video. But 1 guitar was seriously damaged, it has since experienced a full recovery.

Dry fly fishing at it’s best, with self tied flies!
The ones that worked best for me were a vesp imitation and a parrachut.
Some really beautiful wild fish, 3 over 30cm and dozens of small brownies made it a really good day yesterday.
Mountain stream season does come to an end and i am exited already for next year.

We’re so excited to share this year’s Reeling in Serenity 2026 National Recovery Month Online Fundraising Auction with you for preview and bidding registration. We have surpassed the number of items in last year’s auction and are still adding a few more. Please visit this link to view all items and to register to bid on items.

https://reelinginserenity.auctions.networkforgood.com/auctions/RIS-2026-Auction

You can scroll through all seven pages or choose a category to view. The auction will be live for bidding from September 12 through September 26 just prior to midnight Eastern time.
For now we can share that there are 155 items, several with more than one available, and it breaks down like this:
Nine Pieces of Art
Forty-one Books
Three Classes
One Clothing Item (it’s a good one)
One Fly Fishing Digital App
Twenty-one Amazing Fly Assortments
Twenty-seven Gear Items
Four Gift Items
One Item of Jewelry
Four Amazing Lodging Opportunities
Three Magazine Subscriptions
One Online Subscription
And…Thirty-Six Trips! They include California, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Caroline, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Michigan, Minnesota, The Driftless Area, and Ireland! So many amazing folks have stepped up to donate trips this year, and we’re so grateful.
Get your bids in early. The auction has proven to be popular and competitive. And please remember that your bids help support Reeling in Serenity’s mission to celebrate life free from addiction by embracing nature and the spiritual connection that fly fishing has brought so many.

We do this through free fly fishing retreats that are open to those who have chosen to live their personal truth.. We also serve as a safe space and resource for the sober fly angler who is doing the work one day at a time.
Much more to come!

Super small mountain creeks sometimes hold some nice wild fish!
When the main rivers are dirty as f*ck, because of stormy weather, you better explore new waters.
I found a good #browntrout in one of the pools. #dolomites #catchandrelease #flyfishing
