POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Recap of our last days in Sweden 🏡 and …

It goes without saying,
but I’m going to say it anyway…
Life is precious,
and our time in this human experience is limited.

Now that this is off my chest, I can focus on telling a short story—a story that is yet to be written. This story is about a relatively extroverted, yet pretty shy boy. A boy who was thrown into life without choice, just like everybody else. In that sense, he isn’t special. Though in another way, he is very special—again, just like everybody else.

At first, in his youth, he wasn’t aware of the preciousness of his fragile life. One could say he really lived. Some may add that this was good, because once you switch the light of consciousness on, there is no going back.
Eventually, he would switch that light on.
And so it shines. Here he is—a boy in a man’s body.
A dreamer within a human existence.
Here I am.

The boy is still with me; in a certain way, he is me.
In another way, I am no longer a boy. “My” body turns 29 this year. One could say that I’m approaching my 30s. Isn’t that crazy? Wasn’t I a boy just a minute ago? In a certain way, yes. When you let go of time, everything merges together and becomes equally relevant. For as long as I’m here, I can make my life relevant, and that is actually up to me. It truly is a choice—a choice of perception, a choice of building a structure that works for oneself. In this wild experience, many before us have proven that anything is possible. A world of possibilities, and we’re right in it. So it is on us to find that sweet spot—to build a dream and live in it, even though things won’t go the way we expect and plan them to.

It goes without saying,
but I’m going to say it anyway…
A true adventure is to be found
in the beauty beneath the pain.

Simple Things

You know, like living.
You know, like breathing.
You know, like being.

Hold on, what do you mean by simple?
Those are the most difficult things in life.

Living … Breathing … Being …

Well, it can seem that way, I know.
And it can definitely feel that way, too.
But that is only because most of us have the tendency
to overcomplicate simple things.

Simple things like living, breathing, being.
If you think about it, those things happen
without us consciously being involved.

When you are alive, you live.
When you are alive, you breathe.
When you are alive, you are.

That’s that.
The rest is the story we tell ourselves about who we are and what we need to achieve and what we want others to think about us and so on. The rest is just a story.

Which I believe to be beautiful.
Because we can write that story.

It is based on what we do in our daily existence.
Every human we meet,
every decision we make,
every sickness we overcome,
every road we take and every time we fail …
it is all part of our story.

Living. Breathing. Being.
They happen automatically,
but when doing them consciously,
we begin to write our own story.
