Dover Street Market Paris invites you to DSMP Open House, on the occasion of Paris Art Week, to discover the book launch of «GABORITRONALDHAMILTON », the first major collaborative work by Anthea Hamilton, Delphine Gaborit and Lewis Ronald.

Titled by a grouping of the trio’s surnames, it plays with the branding language of a corporate merger. Slim in page count, with gloss paper and a white textured cover, the book withholds author or title, and is instead wrapped in sugar paper stamped with a list of a cast including artists, photographers, creative directors, dancers and poets.

Inside, a suite of twenty-five photographs, made in early 2026, are organised around a 100-year-old poem by Marianne Moore regarding a snail. The only piece of text in the book, Moore’s To A Snail, speaks to an aesthetic of restraint; a love letter to density, pressure, structure and compactness. The book forms part of Archivorum×M’s ongoing publishing programme dedicated to artists’ publishing.

Launch event during DSMP Open House
On Monday October 19TH
From 7:30PM to 9:30PM

We look forward to seeing you!

Compulsion, Compression, Computation, Compartmentalisation, Comparison, Composition

A book by, with, for, about Giovanna Silva

A stack of prints, three Enzo Mari tables, a magnetic wall, some benches, chairs, shelves and other solid surfaces, some archive trays and Post-it notes. Four pairs of eyes searching for patterns, a copy camera, some lights, some colour sheets of paper, a handheld camera with flash.

This is not a photography book, it is a book about exercising photography to see the world. A book about compulsion, obsession, accumulation and a consistent unquenchable thirst.

It is the result of a compulsive exchange between Giovanna Silva, OK-RM (Oliver Knight & RoryMcGrath), assisted by Ned Ramirez-Condor and documented by Thomas Adank.

‘Compulsion…Composition’ @giovannamuzzisilva is available now for global shipping via @in_other_words_imprint 🌎🌏🌍 support independent press! ✨

For London Design Festival 2026, @MonologueLondon presents Afterimage — an exhibition on light, memory and material, where shifting reflections and carefully chosen objects come together in a landscape that lingers in the eye long after you leave.

Tacchini brings its own voice to the exhibition as a longstanding partner of Monologue, presenting three pieces that speak to the depth and breadth of the Italian house: the Le Mura Sofa by Mario Bellini, a modular icon more than fifty years in the making, the Additional System Daybed by Joe Colombo, a futuristic vision of comfort that remains entirely ahead of its time, and the Mano Floor Lamp by Umberto Bellardi Ricci, a sculptural presence that shapes light as much as it diffuses it.

On view at 4 Portman Square, Mayfair, London.

As most of you know by now, Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran are stepping away from Uniqlo U after ten years, with their final Autumn/Winter 2026 collection arriving in stores next week.

Photographer @lewiser recently visited the Uniqlo U workshops and the LEMAIRE atelier in Paris. I’ve always loved seeing designers in their own environment and getting a sense of what inspires them. One photo shows Christophe Lemaire in front of a wall of references, with 19th-century vagabonds alongside German Krautrock bands and a bearded Tolstoy sitting in his armchair.

Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran have spoken before about references ranging from August Sander and Avedon to Issey Miyake and the films of Krzysztof Kieślowski. Lemaire has described the process as a kind of collage, mixing clothes from different parts of the world and different eras until they become part of the LEMAIRE vocabulary.

The Krautrock reference also has a direct connection to LEMAIRE. For Spring/Summer 2018, the red of one shirt came from the cover of Kraftwerk’s The Man-Machine, while an all-white look referenced La Düsseldorf.

This week, we’re exploring the relationship between play and architecture through a selection of our projects, past, present and future. Looking at how spaces can encourage creativity, interaction and a sense of community!

Starting with a throwback to Higham Hill Theatre, part of Waltham Forest’s Making Places initiative. vPPR transformed a forgotten corner of Higham Hill Park into a flexible community amphitheatre, creating new connections between the theatre, café, playground and surrounding park.

Simple linear benches frame a low circular stage, allowing the space to shift between formal performances, informal gatherings and everyday play. What was once a leftover space has become a place for creativity, connection and community.

A reminder that play doesn’t always need to be prescribed, sometimes architecture simply needs to make space for it!

Simple Things by the dearest of all gentlemen @manoloblahnik

INK
Every shoe I design starts with a freehand sketch.
I draw hundreds of shoes each season. I have never used modern design technology – computers, digital drawing pads and such, and I have no intention of starting. Instead, I use classic sable brushes and Dr Ph Martin’s ink. They have produced ink since 1934 and I have been using it for at least 40 years. It is highly pigmented and has an intense vibrant finish. These little bottles of ink in a wide array of colours are an absolute necessity on my desk.

CASABLANCA LILY
Lilies have always been one of my favourite blooms and the Casablanca lily is the most impressive. I often use its intense fragrance to manipulate my imagination and envision I’m strolling in an oriental garden, instead of sketching in my Mayfair office. John Singer Sargent shared my admiration for this joyous flower and masterfully captured them in his “Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose” painting. His work, along with my life-long admiration of florals, have inspired many of my designs over the years.

SHOE LAST
The cordwainer last is a roughly foot-shaped form made of carved wood, resin, cast aluminium or nowadays 3D printed plastic. Acting as a mould for the foot, this simple item is fundamental to shoemaking. The size and shape of the last dictates the final silhouette. The length and width of the shoe, the shape of the toe – round, chisel or almond shaped… all determined by the shape of the last. I love working at Re Marcello, our factory in Vigevano near Milan, transforming the designs from my early sketches on paper into physical beautifully crafted shoes. The word “last” comes from the old English word “laest”, which means “footprint”. I suppose my shoe creations are the footprints that I leave behind on the world. My designs can be whimsical, and fantastical, like pieces of art for your foot. But they are also shoes made to be worn. Excellent quality pieces, made to stand the test of time and even to be handed down. Made to last.

Swedish designer Gustaf Westman (@gustafwestman) has designed specifically British homewares, including a tea strainer and a fish-and-chips holder, for his pop-up at department store Selfridges (@theofficialselfridges), where he created IKEA-style rooms for visitors to explore.

The pop-up shop marks the first time that Westman, who is known for his colourful, bulbous designs, has created specific home-like settings for his products. It marks an evolution from his recent projects that saw him place his designs inside real homes.

Floating Pages — Chapter #6 has come to a close, and our hearts are full. A free, hop-on hop-off bookstore on the Rhine, dedicated to artist books and the people who make them — and to the spontaneous encounters that happen on the water.

This June, Archivorum × M — our publishing series inviting artists from Magic Megève to make a book on a subject of their choice, with independent niche art publishers — launched four new artist books.

Thank you to the artists — Anthea Hamilton @hamiltonanthea, Delphine Gaborit @delphine_gaborit, Lewis Ronald @lewiser, Francesco Vezzoli @archiviovezzoli, Jonathan Monk and Jaime Welsh @jaime_welsh — for trusting us with your books and joining us on board.

Thank you to the publishers — American Art Catalogues @americanartcatalogues, Lenz Press @lenz.press and B-R-U-N-O @books.bruno — for making them with us.

Thank you to the galleries who spent time with us on the Rhine: Consonni and Radziszewski @consonniradziszewski, Kaufmann Repetto @kaufmannrepetto, Franco Noero @galleriafranconoero and Meyer Riegger @meyerriegger — and to all the others who represent the fantastic artists we had the pleasure of working with.

And thank you to everyone who hopped on board for a ride, picked up a book (or simply came to escape the heat), and floated with us on the Rhine.
Until Chapter #7. ✦
