"An Atlantic #puffin swims past an underwater viewing window at the #Cornish Seal Sanctuary in #Cornwall. In 2024, the sanctuary became the first place in the UK to provide permanent care for rescued puffins that could not survive if returned to the wild. The underwater habitat allows visitors to observe behaviours rarely seen above the surface, helping to build a greater understanding of these vulnerable #seabirds and the challenges they face in the wild." Blue sharks are the most fished shark species on Earth, with 10 million taken a year. It’s a stat that stings when you start to recognise individual sharks as characters, and appreciate their beauty. Filmed & Edited by @lewismjefferies.camera

I took my family into the water for a very special dive with one of the ocean’s most misunderstood predators, the beautiful blue shark. Getting up close to these incredible animals in their natural environment is always a privilege, but sharing that experience with my family near our home in Cornwall made it even more special. Blue sharks are graceful, curious and absolutely stunning to see underwater, and this was an experience we’ll never forget. And there was another reason for us to celebrate… 80,000 subscribers! 🎉 Thank you so much to every single one of you who has subscribed, watched, commented, shared and come along for the adventures. I’m incredibly grateful that I get to share these experiences with you and we’re only just getting started! Here’s to the next goal of 100k — and plenty more wild adventures along the way! A huge special thanks to Blue Shark Snorkel (@bluesharksnorkel) for the most incredible day out on the water https://www.bluesharksnorkel.co.uk & an extra thanks to Maurice, Zelah, Koben Bradley, Lewis Jefferies and Arran Moran. @bullusdives Sometimes, just the thought of diving will put a smile on your face. Candid photo by @lewismjefferies.camera taken while we were kitting up, after arriving in Lundy back in May. Lewis had organised a weekend of diving in Lundy, launching from Ilfracombe. I’d never been before, so we joined him on the Sunday. The crossing over to Lundy had been lumpy. Once we arrived and were in the shelter of the Island, the conditions on the surface were lovely, and the sun began to break through the clouds. Smiles all round.
