✨ You haven’t failed. You’ve just spent a long time putting yourself last. ❤️

The amount of parents I coach who tell me they’re “lazy”, they’ve “let themselves go” or they’re disappointed in where they are is honestly heartbreaking.

Because often, nothing could be further from the truth.

You’re showing up for your family.
You’re working hard in your career.
You’re juggling a hundred responsibilities.

But somewhere along the way, your own health has taken a back seat.

Not because you’re lazy. But because you’ve spent so long putting everyone else first.

And the fact that you’re reaching out for help and putting a plan in place tells me you’re ready to change that.

Our job is to help you turn that intention into reality.

Because you can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.

When you start looking after yourself, everyone around you benefits too.

It’s not selfish to prioritise your health. It’s essential.

Follow @theparentspt.

We’re ready when you are. 💚

Still thinking about The Journey.

There was a time when FIFA did not simply ask us to play football. It asked us to live inside it.

Introduced in FIFA 17, The Journey followed Alex Hunter, a teenager from Clapham carrying the legacy of his grandfather Jim. Alongside childhood friend Gareth Walker, he survived the Exit Trial, signed for a Premier League club and entered a world of training, interviews, sponsorships and difficult choices.

A major signing pushed Alex out on loan to Newcastle, Aston Villa or Norwich. There he met Danny Williams, first a rival, then a friend. Alex returned stronger, only to discover that Gareth had joined his club’s biggest rival. Their conflict led to the FA Cup final.

FIFA 18 made the story global. Alex toured America, met Cristiano Ronaldo and was linked with Real Madrid before a transfer scandal changed everything. He moved to LA Galaxy, met his estranged father Harold and discovered his half-sister, Kim. A return to Europe then offered Atlético Madrid, Bayern Munich or PSG.

FIFA 19 completed the trilogy with three playable stories.

Alex joined Real Madrid, inherited Ronaldo’s No. 7 and chased the Champions League while learning to survive fame. Danny fought to escape Alex’s shadow and establish himself in the Premier League. Kim pursued glory with the United States at the Women’s World Cup.

The characters made it memorable: Alex, Danny, Kim, Gareth, Jim, Catherine, Harold and agent Michael Taylor. Real stars made it authentic too, from Ronaldo and Thierry Henry to Neymar, De Bruyne, Griezmann, Müller and Rio Ferdinand.

The Journey also connected with Ultimate Team. Progress and objectives unlocked FUT rewards, including special Alex Hunter items linked to the story.

It was cinematic, imperfect and sometimes predictable.

But it gave FIFA something the series has rarely recovered: a heart, a cast and a story worth finishing.

Three games. One career. So many memories.

6 years of pure dedication to tell the story of his childhood footballing hero was witnessed by a theatre full of people last night, and I honestly could not be prouder to have stood by your side. To have our girls there with us was beyond special and a real core memory moment. Seeing their faces and hearing their gasps every time daddy popped on the screen was a pinch us moment. A real sense of 'We have everything and everyone we could ever need, right here". Massive congratulations to @jamescoppinger26 & @drfcofficial also. Without you. There would be no documentary.

To my husband. I am proud beyond measure. Privileged to witness your sheer brilliance and honoured that I get to stand by your side. You are our hero. We love you ✨

Fantastic evening last night for the premiere of @jamescoppinger26 ‘s biopic film by @lewisreeves The James Coppinger Story covering his journey from The Prem to Doncaster Rovers. @lewisreeves captured the story with perfection delivering an emotional watch. From meeting @terrygormley21 to leaving the club during Covid. He set up @promindsetacademy and I fully get his journey now and why he puts so much passion and energy into the game and also ProMindset. The film will be out in July. If you are a @drfcofficial fan this is a must see! He’s a great guy with time for everyone. He is giving more back to the game, now more than ever and giving young footballers the successful tools they need to survive a tough industry. This is why he is such a legend but more importantly an inspiration to the next generation of football legends.

Big shout out to @louist91 louist91 for supporting this great project!!
