This is a story you’re going to want to swipe through… 🙂

When Alexis first came to me in 2021, she wanted to prep for a bodybuilding show. She was curious and excited to see what the hype was about — but had no idea how much she would fall in love with the process.

Early on, we uncovered some big challenges. She had significant digestive issues from a past gallbladder removal, which impacted her ability to digest fats and affected her hormone balance.

Here’s what most people get wrong about bodybuilding: the off-season is everything. Many don’t push hard enough, neglect their metabolism, and ignore hormone health. Alexis did the opposite.

Each off-season we built strategically:
✅ Prioritized gut health
✅ Supported perimenopausal hormones
✅ Increased her calories to 3,000+ to repair metabolism
✅ Focused on building strong, healthy muscle

In her first year competing, she earned pro cards in both OCB and NFF.

Then it was time to build again — rebalancing hormones, restoring gut health, and bringing her metabolism back up before stepping on stage.

When stage time came, all that preparation paid off. She won her pro debut division in NFF, took home first place and cash, and then won the OVERALL in OCB. Minimal cardio, high calories, strong hormones, balanced gut — this is how it’s done. Oh, and she’s vegan.

Post-show brought new challenges: perimenopause shifts, high stress, and even shoulder surgery. We adjusted training, increased nutrition, and focused on recovery while keeping her mindset strong.

Alexis never saw these as setbacks — she used them to honor her body and learn how to work with it as it changed.

This is why I coach the way I do: helping women support metabolism, hormones, recovery, and gut health so they can thrive in every season.

I couldn’t be prouder of her consistency, communication, and commitment. It’s been such an honor to be part of her journey. 🙏🏻
