Art is my favorite part of this life experience. Creating & witnessing art in any form is a miracle well beyond our ability to understand. Humans try to explain with words but art’s value transcends our ability to fully describe it.
__
I have always followed whatever path would lead me to art and expression. Not only am I blessed to have art be such a huge part of my professional life, but I have found myself in friendship with others who share my love for expression and creating. This is a great blessing.
__
So much gratitude for @joshcolonphoto who shows up & shares his art and magic with our world ✨✨

A special thank you to @beautebydom who was absolutely lovely and made me look my best 🤍

Thank you to everyone who came out to support @ignite.rps this weekend! A special moment of gratitude to this team I’m so lucky to work with. Ignite is so much more than providing teachers with school supplies, and I can’t wait for everyone to watch our organization and community morph into something even more special than it already is

There are people who always say the timing isn’t right, I’ll do it tomorrow, next year, and so on, and they never do. I don’t think anyone who wants to “make the most of this life” wants to end up that way.

Sometimes though, it’s indeed very comforting: that trust that we have time. We have time for our goals and it’s okay if this week, month or year wasn’t just right for it. We are not meant to “get shit done” every day of the year.

Yet here I am at 12:41am on a Monday combing through intern resumes because I know their deadline is here for picking an internship I want them to pick my internship so I can show them that they can take their skills and do their own thing unlike society tells them.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I set aside the turtle to work on my entry for the upcoming show, Artist/Photographer Collaborative on Friday, October 1st at the Red Dragon Brewery. I received several messages about the turtle (thank you, by the way) and I promise to pick it right back up after this piece is complete! I’ll be at Canal Quarter Arts till 5pm today. Scroll through and see a sampling of some of the amazing art you can find here!! Have a great day, everyone ☀️
