Composer @emilygrahammusic tells us a bit about her work “Holding Space”!

Holding Space utilizes audience participatory voting as a means of navigating different emotional spaces. You as a voter get to decide which emotion you’d like to hear next, prompting a unique path for each performance.

We had an absolute blast premiering the piece at our concert at @thewestsidejourney this month!
You can watch Holding Space in full on our YouTube channel.

we are STILL here!!! it just looks a little different nowadays🥹 and while we are booked and working on other things, our sweet Trío Líneas fills us with lots of love and inspiration🥳 Our art has shifted a bit as we focus on recording projects of our favorite works (commissioned, premiered or all of the above)

John graduate from his DMA program at @umichsmtd and is now collaborating with artists around the country (particularly in Arizona and NY!) all while teaching Music Theory at Hillsdale College🤩
Lexi is now the Assistant Performance Librarian & Concert Programs Manager at @umichsmtd AND Principal flute of Rochester Symphony Orchestra! All while performing and creating with @flydlphn.sextet
And I, Adalus, am working towards my MBA and my Master’s in Arts Administration at @uc_ccm while performing and touring across the country as the newest co-artistic director of @palaverstrings and still working with my beloved @internationalcelloinstitute as their managing director🫡

Needless to say, our hearts are full… as are our schedules — but we want to keep representing this group’s instrumentation and keep expanding the repertoire🥳 if you’d like to collab, DO reach out🤩

What a privilege it was to play with @st_vincent on Wednesday up at @interlochenarts conducted by @julesbuckleymusic. Annie has been a huge inspiration of mine since I first saw her back in 2021, and I’m a bit at a loss for words ❤️ What a trippy experience, and I am feeling so grateful!
