What a fantastic weekend at the San Jose International Short Film Festival! 🎬

I saw so many world-class short films and loved connecting with fellow filmmakers, festival founders Bill Hargreaves and Sinohui Hinojosa, and the wonderful Marcella Cortland.

It was a pleasure to share WAIT with such an engaged and enthusiastic audience and connect with everyone after the screening. And I especially appreciate my in laws Jane and Jack for coming to the screening to support!

Oh and not for nothing- I win the best husband ever award.

Thank you, San Jose, for a memorable weekend
! ❤️

It takes a village to make a film, and an even bigger village to help change the world. ❤️

So proud to bring WAIT to @sjisff this Sunday, October 25th at 3:30 PM!

This film was made with an incredible team of artists who believed in the power of storytelling to spark conversations about consent, healing, and prevention.

If you’re in the Bay Area, come join us!

Reposting the trailer for WAIT because the conversation around consent has never been more important.

As we launch our WAIT Impact Screening Tour, our mission is simple: spark conversations, challenge perspectives, and help change the culture around consent.

We believe storytelling can be a powerful tool for prevention.

If you know someone at a college or university who could help bring WAIT to campus, please DM me. We want this film to reach the young people who need to see it.

Let’s talk about prevention.

So excited to share that WAIT has been accepted to the Twin Cities Film Festival!

We’ll be screening on October 20, along with a panel discussion about Changing the Culture of Sexual Assault on Campuses.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue bringing this film and its message of consent, healing, and prevention to new audiences.

Hope to see you there!

This one feels like coming home!

WAIT is heading to the San Jose International Short Film Festival, another Oscar-qualifying festival and one that’s very special to me.

I brought three films to this festival, and every time I’m reminded what a true filmmaker’s festival it is. The audiences, the programming, and the genuine love of short films make it a fantastic experience.

I’m thrilled to be coming back, this time with WAIT, and can’t wait to share the film with the San Jose audience.

See you in October!

Such a thoughtful article about WAIT from radioducinema ❤️

Thank you to @jennasurureal for the wonderful conversation with Lexi Simonsen and me about consent, healing, and the care that went into bringing WAIT to the screen.

“The goal is not simply to tell viewers what to think, but to give them something meaningful to talk about afterwards.”

The article also explores Lexi’s beautiful work as Evie, our collaboration with intimacy coordinator @heatherondersma, and the next chapter for WAIT as we bring the film to colleges, organizations, and conferences through our Impact Screening Tour.

Thank you, Jenna and La Radio du Cinéma, for helping us continue this conversation beyond the screen.

When your wife throws a private golf tournament for your 30th birthday, you know it’s going to be a good time. Celebrated with friends and family this weekend, and couldn’t feel more loved.
