POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Omg, still pinching myself! 😭✨ In honor of release day for Kiss of the Black Flame, I got to meet the absolute sweetest @helenscheuerer (FINALLY! *squee*) and the lovely @kfbreene this past Sunday at @bookpassage! 📚❤️I always get so nervous and my brain completely goes blank when I meet authors, but they were both so incredibly kind! 🥺👉👈 Thank you both so much for bringing your magic to our little slice of heaven here in Northern California. We never take it for granted and feel truly blessed to meet our absolute favorites. 🥹🌸✨ Happy release week! 🥳🔥

Happy release day to @helenscheuerer for Kiss of the Black Flame @atriabooks

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Helen for the book tour event hosted by @bookpassage. It was moderated by author @kfbreene

The event started off with questions by K. F. where we got to learn about its characters, Helene’s writing process and more. My favorite moment is finding out how Helen wanted to have a slightly more “soft” MMC (that still had muscles) that we would all drool over.

We had to keep things spoiler free because the book didn’t release until today, but we had a lot of fun regardless. The event was videotaped so participants watching could ask questions along with event attendees. Then when everything was done, we could get our signed books personalized and take pictures with the authors.

Overall it was a good time. I got to see my bookish friends and got another book that I am very excited to add to my library. I also got to visit a new restaurant I haven’t been to and I got to bring out one of my favorite bags.

Such a fun night with the girls getting to see @helenscheuerer and @kfbreene at @bookpassage for the release of Kiss Of The Black Flame.

Always love getting to listen to author convos, Q&A and talking books with friends. Also will continue to add amazing books to the never ending TBR!

TJ Klune!

This book event was amazing and it was so good to be back with the book girlies.

TJ is such an amazing personality and brought so many laughs. I cannot wait to read We Burned So Bright.

Currently reads and candy salad!

I sae this trend on the IG the other day, and with our book bestie dinner the next day, we figured we would recreate it.

I needed this recharge with my besties after a long week and its always the best time when we are together. Fun stories, great food and solid book talk. Plus who doesn't love a candy salad.

We saw other bookish ladies make this “candy salad” so we decided to have some fun and make some after our get together.

We all had a great time talking about books, drinking wine and eating all the yummy food and candy.

Shout out to @lexidelavara for having us over and all the ladies @courtnoxious @rikkakang @vongeekery @rhiannon.rainbow @aerin_lw who made the evening fun.

XOXO 💋
