Today was an amazing day and I’ve been reflecting on what to post. I could write a story about my MBA journey, but I won’t. Instead, I’ll share this.. I accomplished everything I came to Morgan to do and was rewarded with more than I could have imagined. ⬇️

* Took a course called Design Your Life and realized I needed to make a few changes. I quit my job in May 2021 and haven’t looked back since. That’s faith y’all!
* Interned (Summer MBA Associate) with Deloitte Consulting and was rated a Top Performer.
* Got accepted into Cohort 3 of the #HennessyFellows Program and launched @becivicallyengaged
* Was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society
* Given the title, Councilman Hill by my peers (Power reference)
* Nominated for most likely to become President
* Selected for the inaugural T. Rowe Price Mentorship Program
* Guest lectured on the topic of “Getting Unstuck and Reframing Problems”
* Awarded a Full-ride MBA Scholarship
* Gained lifelong friends that I didn’t know I needed.

This Journey was life changing!! A huge thank you to everyone whose supported me along the way! What’s next?? Stay tuned… 😎

Last night had fun at my first college football game ever! Watched the #terps play HU! Lol thanks @torreysmithwr & @chanelsmith_22 for such a fun evening!! Great seeing some familiar faces @lexlex31 & @latierra11 ❤ Biggest surprise "sat" was seeing my coach @kreds24 and not having to give him five push ups or do any burpees!!! Hahah loved also being able to go down on the field. Ps- Auntie @kryyss2612 took a pic! It's in my stories. #collegefootball #satnightfun

There's nothing like having a solid group of people in your corner. I didn't get pics individually with everyone. But greatful for the group pic!! Our @instafamfitness bonds go beyond a workout. Tonight it was a skate night!!.I was a hot sweaty mess!! But had so much fun!! We are forever connected. @blue.tansy.dansy you are an amazing host and organizer!! Thanks for pulling off the BEST surprise for @_indria10 ❤

Wait... did we just find our new church home?
This morning we attended service @ingagechurch for their I Love the 90s theme and enjoyed every moment of it. So many thanks to our good friends @lexlex31 and @fit_pro_g who not only are phenomenal friends and sport teammates but also always inspiring us to be more in touch with our faith.

Random thing about me... I was raised Catholic and have pretty much only ever been to Mass. It was really nice to attend something not so “structured” and formal to the point of being robotic.

Sunday filled with the Spirit means nothing this week can keep me down.

Just do it. #ad I never thought that iconic slogan (hey @nikeswim) would become my mantra during quarantine. With our routines being disturbed and so much uncertainty around, it’s important to do the things that we can to keep a smile on our face. But it’s also a reminder that everything can change at the drop of a dime and we should in fact “just do it” when it comes to going after our goals, dreams, and wants even with being in our homes far more.

This is one of my goals. Thank you @nikeswim for this partnership and thank you for letting me share this with my friends (@lexlex31 + @suck_my_nick) Two women who embody dream chasing and goal crushing. Because one thing is certain, we won’t make it through these challenging times without our loved ones to lean on.

So yes, let’s clap it up to me crossing something off my blog bucket list and let’s cheer for all those adjusting to our new normal. #nikeswim
