When you’re looking for love and it seems like you might not ever find it, remember you probably have access to an abundance of it already, just not the romantic kind. This kind of love might not kiss you in the rain or propose marriage. But it will listen to you, inspire and restore you. It will hold you when you cry, celebrate when you’re happy, and sing All Saints with you when you’re drunk. You have so much to gain and learn from this kind of love. You can carry it with you forever. Keep it as close to you as you can. Dolly Alderton

A huge thank you to @markhayeswestall and @worldoffad for the interview!

"What does it take to sustain an artistic practice in London today?

FAD talks to curator Nicholas Stavri about Make Do / Make Space, his exhibition at Hypha Gallery South Bank, and a city where studio rents, materials and diminishing funding are increasingly shaping not only whether artists can make work, but what they are able to make.

Stavri also discusses the importance of artist-led organisations and new models for supporting artists. For Make Do / Make Space, Hypha has provided space and time for artists to build ambitious works, while Hypha Curates directs 70% of sales back to artists and 30% towards funding free workspaces and galleries.

A conversation about making, creating, resilience and finding ways to keep London’s art scene alive."
