Xander Cobb takes us on a journey through Friday Night Rat Catchers, by Lisa Fagan & Lena Engelstein. The work disgusts, impresses, and flings itself through a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants process, and the resulting review is an equally fun read! All Fringe coverage at the link in the bio. Photo: Maria Baranova Image Description: A dark teal border on the left and bottom edges of a white rectangle. In the center, an image: On a dark smoky stage littered with fruit loops and rocks, two dancers whip their hair forward from a wide second position plie (legs wide, turned out, and bent), their hands smacking their thighs. The dancers are dressed like it’s the 70s and they’re going to the club: one in an orange halter jumpsuit with sparkly fringe, the other wearing tall silver heeled boots, purple booty shorts, and a fluorescent green shirt with flared sleeves. In the lower-left corner of the post, in dark teal and black, a lowercase t and uppercase D, the logo for Thinking Dance. Above the image are blue letters that read Friday Night Rat Catchers Suck the Titties Dry, and below the image are blue letters that read by Xander Cobb.
