POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The last set of books to finish off 2026 (my book club not withstanding).Such a great year for buying and an even better year of reading.

About fifty pages into Palinuro of Mexico and counting my chickens far too early as it already has me ready to proclaim it as a top five.

The Seven Madmen edition is cooking too.

Note the Bear Attacks book behind. One of my obsessions are with grizzly bears in every facet of their lives, most importantly their interactions with humans.

@chfmanitoba Book Sale was superb. Take a look around.

Personal white whale finds were Barth’s The Sot-Weed Factor, Macauley’s History of England and Isherwood’s Berlin Stories.

My favourite books whose place is never permanent, Light in August being the exception to the rule.

Podium style being:

1. Light in August by William Faulkner
2. Lord of Dark Places by Hal Bennett
3. The Man Who Cried I Am by John A.Williams

Fortunate enough to have heard of these titles and more fortunate still to know the difference one letter can make on the quality of a writer.

I cannot believe that together we have mapped over 340 little libraries in Winnipeg and surrounding areas!
And not to mention that the map has close to 38,000 views!
It means so much to me that you use the map and I love how excited you get when you find a new little library to share with me 🥹

As always, the link is in the bio and don't be shy to send me addresses and pics of libraries to add📍

My husband taught Oz to stop at every bench he sees. I love it because it reminds me to take a second and enjoy our time together.

This is the face of a happy, hot dog (yes, we had water on the walk 🤗)!

Today we were listening to Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty. Oslo approved ✔️
