Finally managed to make my dream come true and do an Ironman 70.3! Seems easy on the paper but in the reality it’s a hell of a challenge. Especially the Vichy one, with the ride involving climbing up the hill for 7k! Glad being able to do it with my best friend, Heath. Proudly representing @ldnfrontrunners!

🇬🇧🇦🇺🧲 Bryan here! @runbry - the President of @internationalfrontrunners (give us a follow!) - I’m sporting my @lfrtriathlon London Frontrunners Triathlon top today 🏊‍♀️ 🚴‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♂️ as part of my 52 marathons in 52 weeks wearing a different Frontrunners jersey for each. The triathlon division of London Frontrunners @ldnfrontrunners is unique in that it’s focused primarily on run, swim and bike. Top learning from them is to open your mind to other disciplines beyond just running - check with your teammates and your club today and perhaps go for a cycle to break things up or a swim. Larger more established clubs like London and New York have multisport programs but there’s nothing stopping you and a smaller group building your own within your existing club.

Daily Marathon tally in this series:

Day 0: 3:31:07 (Alice Springs Marathon)
Day 1: 4:53:36
Day 2: 3:58:17
Day 3: 3:58:15
Day 4:
Day 5:
Day 6:
Day 7:

Thanks again to Kaz and Tim for hosting the Magnetic 10 in 10 series @independentrunnerevents @magnetic10in10

Top personal learning: It’s OK not to love everything. Today I questioned my life choices around doing a marathon every day as part of a multi-day series. It’s just not fun. 1-3 marathons in a week is good. I put undue pressure on myself to maintain this sub 4 for these multi-day series. But my body is tired. Nobody really cares that much it’s just myself. But anyhow, great learning that you don’t have to LOVE everything. With experience comes selectiveness too I guess.

52 marathons this year in 52 different @internationalfrontrunners vests, celebrating 52 years of Frontrunners and 🌈🦄 rainbow running and walking together. For those that don’t know I have a project this year to run 52 marathons in different Frontrunners club vests from our 139 clubs worldwide to celebrate 52 years since the inception of our first Frontrunner Club, San Francsico. It’s Medal Monday! (… Tuesday)

The Valencia Gay Games have now come to a close, and our Athletes have come home (or enjoying a well deserved break in Spain.

In total, a mammoth 39 medals came home with us this year, including 14 gold. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone. Let’s see if we can beat that total in Cardiff next year 👀🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
