13th Annual Save A Life Walk in the books! Raising awareness about domestic violence helps break the stigma and reminds survivors that they are not alone. By speaking out, educating others, and creating a safe space for open conversations, we encourage those suffering in silence to reach out for help. Every voice matters, every story deserves to be heard, and everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved. 💜 Sometimes, one message can give someone the courage to speak up and seek help. If you or someone you know is in an unhealthy relationship our advocates are available 24/7 for crisis counseling, safety planning or DV education. You are not alone💜 #dvam2026 #SaveALifeWalk #LakeHavasuCity #Advocacy #EndDVinAZ

LOOK AT LONDON BRIDGE SHINING FOR US! 💚🩷🩵 On October 13, Lake Havasu City illuminated the London Bridge in green, pink, and teal for #LightUpMBC, raising awareness of metastatic breast cancer and the need for research. As someone living with this disease, seeing these photos means so much to me. I’m grateful I could help bring this campaign to Lake Havasu—and thankful to the City for making it happen. Metastatic breast cancer is stage IV: breast cancer that has spread to distant parts of the body. Some of us are diagnosed at stage IV from the beginning, called de novo. Others face a metastatic recurrence after an earlier breast cancer diagnosis. Treatments help keep us alive, but effective options can eventually run out. We need research that gives us more time, more options, and hope for lasting cures. When choosing a breast cancer organization to support, go beyond the pink and ask whether your donation funds metastatic research. METAvivor specifically supports research for people living with stage IV. Thank you to everyone who captured and shared these beautiful photos. You helped me experience this moment from Southern California—and helped shine a light on all of us living with MBC. 💚🩷🩵 Learn more or support the campaign: www.METAvivor.org/LightUpMBC #LightUpMBC #METAvivor #metastaticBreastCancer #lakehavasucity

Havasu Mamas — I NEED YOU! 🫶🏽 We’ve worked hard to get a splash pad back on the table — and now it’s time to make sure our voices are part of what comes next. Mamas, this is your chance to come hear the conversation and have a say in the design for the new splash pad! And PLEASE don’t let childcare keep you home! This meeting is kid-friendly, so bring the whole family. 👏🏼 🎨 Self-serve crafts 🖍️ Coloring corner 🍪 Sponsored appetizer 👧🏼 Kid-friendly atmosphere 📅 Monday, September 28th ⏰ 6:00 PM 📍 Council Chambers — 92 Acoma Blvd. S. We asked for a splash pad. Now let’s show up and help shape it. 🤎 Come have a say. Your voice matters — and your kids will be the ones enjoying this space for years to come.
