4 sets of 10 isn’t always better. In fact, for most people, it can be more than you need. The goal of training isn’t to do as much work as possible. It’s to do enough high-quality work to stimulate growth, recover, and come back stronger. If your form is on point and you’re training hard, 2 quality working sets per exercise can be enough. More sets don’t automatically mean more muscle. Too much volume can simply mean: ❌ More fatigue ❌ Longer recovery ❌ Lower-quality training I switched from 4 sets to 2 working sets per exercise years ago. I train each muscle twice per week, recover better, and built more muscle. Less volume. Better sets. Better recovery. More growth. 📈 Want my free mass-building training programme?
