Gateway V14

Crazy suspended bloc that gives access to the Aerials sector. Easily on top of my favorite boulders in CO so far.

Kinda resembles me of Tomba V14 in Val Bavona in terms of style and intensity. Wild toe-hooks and full body compression in between perfect edges.
Managed to flash into the stand and miserably dry fire just after the left hand flip. Psyched to finishing off later in the same session together with @liamab after an epic fight. Good times!

Ego Death v14ish

Absolutely stunner day out in E. What a treat to send this @keenantakahashi king line on such a quintessential alpine day.

This rig is all time and is without a doubt one of the best boulders I’ve climbed. Such good movement in such a special place. So good I essentially did it twice lol. On the go before sending, I got absolutely bricked at the top and bailed at the commiting rockover. Rested for an hour and fired it. Forgot what it feels like to get pumped at altitude lol.

In terms of the grade, I felt it sits somewhere between hard 13 and lower end 14. Kinda hard to tell on something that suits my box and style quite well. Only time will tell where it truely lies. Regardless of the grade, it is an absolute classic and deserves the hype! Super stoked to share sends with @keenan_panda and @liamab today.

Learning to love Spring 💐🌻🌼 ft.
-A very warm trip to Joe’s
-A lovely visit to see the beautiful @fabienneannick and @mos__jef in their California home
-Liam’s bday, including a surprise gathering
-My garden project in the works + me cryin at the beauty of LIFE with my lil seedlings starting to sprout. I’ve been super interested in growing my own food, building my own things, second hand EVERYTHING.
-Lots of climbin, always. I set out to do two things this season. Spend more solo time on my rigs and get more familiar with the 8a realm. 🤝 I found a lot of mental clarity and focus, which felt really good. Favorite moments include listening to the birds chirp while I rest and soaking in all the quiet.
-Rumi, the queen of the land.

Berry season is in full swing with a twinge of fall in the air! Trout are in absolute abundance for the boys. Rafaela is slumping, but we still ALWAYS UP. I finally ascended Toe Hook V5, tg I didn’t use a heel hook. Comb trainer. @liamab is making a fun little edit of our summer so far, so enjoy the teasers of a little climbing, a little baseball, a little Jo.
