I would like to thank Julia Binswanger of @billy_penn @whyy for inviting PAM to talk about PAM! This is a total labor of love, and as the project inches toward sustainable plans, I need to sincerely thank the early collaborators, confidants, galleries, artists, and viewers who have made this engine run! As well as all the projects and initiatives that have come through before us, laying the groundwork for the community building and collaboration our scene thrives on. I am so thrilled about the early interest (as mentioned in the article, over 26,000 views since launch!) and very excited for the future months. I am typing this as I’m headed to my day job, so more will be shared soon formally, but for now, I hope you can close Instagram, find art, and get to it. 🩷, Pam

“Mirror Mirror” features Baltimore-based artist Amy Boone-McCreesh and Philadelphia-based artist Libby Rosa in a mixed-media exploration of how domestic traditions and decorative arts shape female identity. The exhibition engages themes of vanity, class aspiration, and the shifting power dynamics between human-built environments and the natural world. Central to this narrative is the history of self-portraiture as a radical act of agency. Historically excluded from formal training and the study of the figure, women artists often turned to the mirror as their primary subject. In this exhibition, reclaiming the self as subject becomes a source of empowerment. Working across painting and sculpture, the artists treat the gallery as a mutable site for intervention, using painted theatrical curtains and engaged architectural sculpture to suggest hidden sectors existing beyond the physical walls.

Did you catch @elsewhere.fair at @helloyowie this weekend? ✨

For one weekend, YOWIE’s beautifully designed hotel rooms became temporary galleries, bringing together exhibitors from Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Savannah, Europe, and beyond.

What felt especially exciting wasn’t just the work on view—it was seeing Philadelphia in conversation with a broader international art ecosystem. Artists, galleries, collectors, and curators from around the world gathered on South Street, signaling a growing visibility and connectivity for Philly’s contemporary art scene.

A few moments from an inspiring weekend. 🤍

Elsewhere Fair was fun! Congrats to @blahblahgallery, @helloyowie, and all the exhibitors and artists for pulling off a worthwhile experiment.

Scroll to the end to see the artwork @kattsaenz and I bought from Chicago-based artist @alesssandra.lol via @pointblank.chi, whose work we quickly became obsessed with.

Did you go to @elsewhere.fair ? What did you think?

P.S. I took lots of pics and tried my best to tag the artists and spaces but insta limits me to 20 tags per post.
