✨ Take a moment ✨
As the year is coming to a close, we invite you all to do take a moment. Identify what does “rest” feel like in your body? Where do you feel ease when you allow yourself to be tended to? What parts may have some resistance? Answer in the comments 💬

These questions allow us to embody patience, care and honesty. Ultimately leading to cellular transformation that allows us to transform our world into one where loving is prioritized and honored🤍

Thank you for taking a moment✨

Precision beats Power 🎯

Power means nothing if they see it coming.

On the inside, keep that elbow tight and the hook compact. Less telegraph, more speed, and a cleaner path to the target.

Short. Sharp. Precise. That’s why precision beats power.

Are you throwing your hook to be hard—or throwing it to land?

Get better at what YOUR sport actually demands.

Whether you’re preparing for your next fight, your upcoming season, tryouts, or you simply want to become faster, stronger, and more explosive, our Elite Athlete Performance Program is built to show you exactly what needs work.

Using OVR Performance technology, we track jump height, reactive strength, foot speed, sprint performance, and bar speed so your training is based on YOUR numbers, not a generic workout.

You’ll get custom 1 on 1 performance training, weekly OVR testing, stat based homework, progress tracking, and a leaderboard posted every Sunday.

Your numbers show us what needs work. Your training is built to improve it.

Open to athletes from all gyms and all sports, ages 10 and up.

For best results, we recommend 2 Elite Performance Sessions per week plus weekly testing.

Limited spots available. Book your Elite Athlete Performance Session or OVR Test Day now.

Stop Copying Drills (Steal This Instead)

The goal isn’t to copy every punch in order—it’s to understand what makes it work.

This drill breaks down high-low jabs, creating angles, and defending into counters.

Take the pieces that fit your game, sharpen the mechanics, and build your own combinations from there.

Learn the concept. Build your style.

YOU’RE SLIPPING WRONG 🎯

Use the stick check to clean up your hip movement and keep your slip tight.

If you rotate too far, you open your body and leave the liver exposed for the counter.

Slip just enough to make the punch miss. Stay balanced. Stay protected. Stay ready to fire back.

This past weekend there was an abundance of Black beauty, joy and of course COMMUNITY at @frizzfest 2026🫶🏾
We set up an incredible wellness spot where folks could hangout, receive FREE acupuncture beads from @f.afua 🩵 , listen to stories📖 and overall feel the love from us, Black Healers Collective(BHC), throughout the entirety of the event🫂

HUGE thank you to @frizzfest ❣️ This event is monumental for the culture and we are so grateful and honored to have been a part of it🙏🏾

Another special thanks to all of our BHC members. We truly brought some contagious love and childlike pleasure into the space ✨

TRAIN THE SHOT. TRAIN THE ANSWER 🧠

whatever you throw ,better know how to defend

Step in and rip the liver shot, then train the other side.

Catch it on the elbow, stay composed, and be ready to fire the counter.

If you can throw it, you better be able to defend it.

Don’t just learn the shot, learn the answer. Save this and drill both sides.

TURN THEIR PRESSURE AGAINST THEM

Step back to draw them in, plant the lead foot, and pivot out the side door.

Land the body hook, take two steps around the hip, and cut the ring off.

They pressured you. Now they’re on the ropes

THE DRILLS WE DO ACTUALLY WORK 🥊
(NO GHOST DRILLS)

Drill It Until It Shows Up in the Fight

The pole drill isn’t about moving around an obstacle—it teaches you to move the head, change the line of sight, and find the opening around the guard.

Then you see the exact same movement show up in live sparring: get outside the vision, turn the corner, and dig the liver shot.

Don’t just learn the drill. Learn what the drill is teaching you.

Stop Using Your Legs on Double Rolls

After you throw the 2, set that back foot and use it as your anchor.

Now drive the double roll from the waist and core instead of taking extra steps with your feet.

Less movement. Faster defense. Better position to fire back.

Set the foot. Move the waist.

Stay in the pocket. 🥊

Can you double roll without your feet giving you away? Drill it.

Can you double roll without squating ? Try it and feel the difference.

Inside Footwork: Win the Angle

Don’t Just Pivot 👀 Take the Angle. 🥊

The first pivot changes the position. The second takes away their adjustment.

That’s the purpose of the double-tap pivot—shift the angle twice, get outside their line of fire, and attack while they’re still trying to square back up.

Move their eyes. Beat their feet. Take the angle.

Try it, drill it, and tell me where you’d attack from this position.
