💭 What is your favorite spicy romance book?

I started out on bookstagram obsessed with YA fantasy and contemporary romance, and that’s slowly turned into romantasy and general romance (contemporary, dark, paranormal) 🥹🤍

Really I’m a sucker for anything with fake dating, dual POV, he falls first, arranged marriage, loathe to love. Really just all the tropes 🌸

And here’s a little secret…all of these books are on kindle unlimited (last I checked), so you can grab your copy for free through KU 🎉

Oh, and if you’re like me, a lot of them do have discrete covers (THANK GOODNESS) or you can just read them on the kindle app.

One of my favorite parts of Bookstagram is the community. It’s absolutely amazing and beyond supportive 🥹🤍

In 2022 I created an account after seeing someone talking about getting ARCs. As an avid reader, the thought of working with authors and publishers had always been a dream.

This community had given me so much over the past few years, and it honestly has been such a dream come true! I never would have imagined the possibilities even a year ago 📖

I adored reading to the story of Frankie and George. I’m a bit biased because childhood friends to lovers is my favorite trope. Tofino sounds dreamy & George is truly one of the most elite book boyfriends. The friendship between them feels so pure, nostalgic, and wholesome. I LOVED THIS BOOK. Frankie rediscovering who she is and her character arc, the tension, the whales 🐋 I loved every second of it! Carley Fortune has a way of describing her settings that it always feels like a cozy blanket as you escape into a new place. I really need to go to Canada!

Whelp. I’ve been reading, rotting, and binging Age of Attraction all weekend so I’m just getting to the weekly updates. Behind on everything but considering I have four and a half days of work until Spring Break and my mom arriving from Ohio it’s pretty safe to say I’m flying by the seat of my pants this week and counting down the hours.

2025 Reads 🎆

Hope everyone is well and having a great start to the new year! I had lots of variety in my reads last year which was awesome and I hope to continue that into this year. Romance was and always will be my top though 💜 Plus lots of children’s picture books and middle grade books as I finished my Masters’ degree and started my first year teaching—which will definitely continue with my class’ daily read aloud during snack.

As always my booksta hiatuses come and go, but I’m always reading. I love popping in to see everyone’s posts 💜
